"Lila, please get your brothers from chasing that stupid cat." She sighed the rough skin on her hands caressing her temples. The soft giggles and shrieks coming from the garden, where my three brothers are probably terrorising the neighbours cat.
"Sure mum, I'll make sure that they stop scaring the poor cat." I smiled softly at her. "We can't have Mrs greyson chasing them around the garden again." I grinned at the memory.
Mrs greyson a frail old woman, no older than 65, chasing my three brothers down the pathway to her house. Screaming profanities at them as they laughed like the animals they were. My mother was mortified when she found Mrs greyson holding her three boys by the tips of their ears on her porch. My father however was proud grinning at them as they were being lectured by my mother, sneaking smiles and prising them behind her back.
Walking out the backdoor, my brothers we're all running trying to pick up Oscar, Mrs greysons cat. I watched the scene for a while, they weren't bad but dad is going to have a hand full went these start to train. A low growl slipped past my lips causing them to freeze, I mentally smirked.
"Leave it." I growled again whilst walking towards them. They all started to whine, claiming they were about to get him. "That cat is never going to die by your hands." I laughed at them. Mrs greyson would kill them before they could.
Their faces dropped and a sober expression overtook them, Oscar however let out a snarl at Nathan causing him to lung at him. I grabbed him by the back of his shirt before he could and dragged him back towards the house. He desperately clawed at my hand to let go but I kicked the back of his leg causing him to fall. His body fell straight like a board into the ground causing us all to laugh.

We all eventually went back inside for dinner. My brothers were rambling about wanting to train with me and dad, causing me to roll my eyes. My mother and father were engrossed in there boys, listening to every word they said.
Training was nothing special, it was torture. Fighting was never fair and I was always paired with someone who could seriously beat my ass, aka my dad. Even though I never always won I did know how to fight and my Survival skills were okay.
Looking at my brothers, I was sure they would do better than me. Nathan was the oldest out the three, he was thirteen, I was sure fighting would be his strong point and he would make a amazing warrior in some pack. I would die before I told him this though. Then there is Thomas he was nine, a ball of energy nothing fazed him, he was the most fearless out the four of us. Then there was bailey, he was five, the youngest out the bunch. Bailey was by far my favourite he was so calm sometimes abit to timid but we think he will grow out of it.
My brothers and I all looked alike, much to my dismay. The black wavy untameable hair contrasted to our blue eyes. My mum described them as sapphires completely baffled at were we got them. My father claims we inherited them from him, even though his eyes are green. I had my mums features thankfully whilst they had my dads. The strong jaw line and the Roman nose paired with thick jet black eyebrows.
Whilst I had freckles sprinkled across my roman nose. My lashes were long but my eyebrows were unshaped they grew in all different directions, I however loved them. My lips weren't full and lush but they weren't small just average. I wasn't skinny either, I didn't have a thigh gap and my hips were wide. My waist was small along with my boobs. I was just average.

"Lila."
My eyes fluttered, a soft voice spoke causing me to wake. Pulling the covers from my body I hung my legs over the side of the bed. Rubbing my eyes with the palm of my hands trying to get them to focus on my surroundings. The only thing I could see was the moonlight illuminating the floor beneath the window.
"Lila."
There it was again soft voice, only this time it was more distant. Standing up from the bed I walked towards the window, peering out at the forest behind our garden. A figure stood by a tree it's yellow eyes peering right into my room. I shakily blinked, it had to be a hallucination I just woke up. Right.
Opening my eyes the figure was still there causing me to stumble. "Lila." It spoke, I watched as it's lips moved in sync. My heartbeat increased thud..thud..thud, i could feel my rib cage contracting making me breath heavy. The piercing yellow eyes didn't budge almost daring me to stare directly at them.
I didn't know what to do, I was frozen. The land we lived on was unmarked territory. The terrifying creatures that lurked them woods at night was unknown to me as my father would always keep us from going there. He said that we didn't need to worry about what lurks between those trees as he would keep us safe.
But looking at those peculiar yellow eyes, something compelled me to go to it. It was like my soul was being dragged away from me as I desperately tried to chase after it. Opening the lock on my window the latch snapped back making a soft click. Without thought I opened the window wide and climbed through sitting on the tiny ledge for support.
1...2...3...
My body collided with the floor my arm placed under my stomach breaking my fall. A faint bruise was already starting to appear making me hiss. Standing up on my feet trying not to wobble was hard, a tingling sensation in my lower limbs was present.
Looking up the yellow eyes disappeared making me frown. I walked slowly towards the forest in hopes of finding them.
Walking past the tree line a gust of wind blew past me, causing my hair to fly wildly around me the black matter danced with the wind making me smile. However, the shivers that went down my spine didn't, the eerie feeling of some one watching me.
I was debating whether to go back to the safety of my home or travel deeper into the forest. It was like a horror movie, where the main character decides to be stupid or not. With a shaky breath I looked back at my house the paint work slightly chipping round the window and door frames. I guess I was going to be that stupid main character. Only i won't die.

I've decided to split this chapter into two, this one was a little boring I know. But it was a little bit of an introduction for our characters.
