Walking through the forest at night probably wasn't one of my brightest ideas. The black sky lit with minimal stars and a semi-moon, made the trees appear life like. The light reflected from the bark created shadows resembling figures, the feeling of them not being shadows made me tremble. My experience with danger wasn't the best I was always drawn to it somehow and it never ended good.

The deeper I walked the more dense the trees were. The natural light was becoming dimmer making it hard to see five feet in front of you. Walking through the forest at night with out any shoes was a bad idea. "No shit Sherlock." My wolf snapped at me. The flimsy nightgown I was wearing did no good for the chilly temperatures.

My bare feet were padding over the leaves creating a soft crunch that echoed through out the forest. Closing my eyes for a second to gather my thoughts which were running wild, I decided to turn back. Pivoting on my feet I turned. Steadily walking through the forest for what felt like years but in reality was minutes, the constant feel of something watching me was dawning in on me.

The long i walked the more I felt like I had been here, like déjà vu. This caused me to start panicking, my heart beat increased pounding against my rib cage in a deathly manner. My feet bolted in the direction I was facing in hopes of getting back home. Nothing worked I was running for ages yet the trees only seemed to get denser and darker.

Stopping abruptly, I tried to slow my breathing.

Breathe in....and breathe out...

I closed my eyes only focusing on my breathing desperately trying to control my racing heartbeat. All my other senses were lucid, so the distant crunching of leaves beneath someone's feet was anonymous.

It all happened so fast.

My body was tackled to the ground in one swift movement taking me by surprise. I let out a srilling scream desperately fighting against my attacker. My claws elongated from in my fingertips giving me some defense against this monster.

Opening my eyes I saw those piercing yellow eyes starring right back in to my sapphire orbs, making me freeze. The hitch in my throat was audible. A menacing smile etched upon his face showing the the crooked teeth which were slightly yellow. his hands on my shoulders locking me in place. bringing my claws up to his face I struck them down diagonally, the sound of my claws penetrating his skin was horrific.

the screams he admitted were defining. he let go of my shoulders and gripped his face, the diagonal slashes started from his cheekbone down to the tip of his chin. I scrambled to my feet whilst he whaled on the ground cupping his cheek to stop the blood from oozing out.

with one last look I bolted through the trees, running like my life depended on it.

all that could be heard throughout the forest was my ridged breaths as I stomped down on the amber leaves scattered across the ground.

"Lila"

That same soft voice spoke once again gaining my attention. Frozen, my legs stopped running and my breath came to a halt. I wasn't in control of my body my mind was begging to turn round and keep running to the safety of our home yet I couldn't.

"Lila."

That soft voice was the last thing I heard before my vision clouded with black and my body went crashing to the ground.
