So what's going to be happening? Well, we're going to start the contest right away! The first round is one where everyone gets the same prompt; for your convenience, two have been written below, and you may choose whichever you'd like. Prompt 2 is a more specific version of the first, but in both you're required to create the same thing: a manipulation that has the dimensions at a ratio of 2:3, eg 800:1200, 1000:1500, etc.

Make a manipulation which must include (though you can include other things) a ship, fire, and a parrot.

The instructions are the same as above, but here's a little more information:
Reyna Arleson has always been told that she's nothing, a worthless supplementary to the royal family (which means she has three siblings, all of whom are boys) because she's a girl. So when her father offers her the conquest of a separate kingdom, promising her that she'll be able to become one of the family if successful, she jumps at the chance. Taking only an old, battered ship her grandmother once used on voyages, a small suitcase containing all her worldly goods (just her second favourite pair of jeans and five books she can't live without) and her trusty first mate, Party the Parrot, she embarks on a voyage to prove her worth once and for all.
As a reminder, in this round, 2 people will be eliminated.

But while there are consequences, there are also rewards! The top 3 winners of this round get the advantage of knowledge for the next round, which means that when the 21 prompts are released, the top placed contestant in this round will get to know 3 of them; the second placed will know 2; and third placed will know 1.

The deadline for this round is Sunday, the 7th of April, at 4:00pm BST / 11:00am ET. Submit your entries by inline commenting here a link to them - they can include a watermark and can be posted on Wattpad, but for judging purposes, when you include the link here please make it to a link-sharing website such as Imgur.
We're aware that it's a really quick turnover, so if the time frame is unrealistic for you, do let us know! A reason would be great, but we'll definitely understand if real life takes priority.
