Hello guys! This is my second book on my account and I hope things go well as they did for 50 Shades of Cipher! Some of the words in this chapter are phrases that I pulled from the anime, I changed it a bit but it's still kinda the same.

Life isn't fair or easy, particularly if you have no supernatural abilities, you were worthless to many. Even for yourself. I wouldn't say I was extraordinary or meaningful to people in the town I live in now. Though only to a few. I lost my family with someone who lost there's, since that day we've been inseparable. Even before the war calls screamed throughout the town.

"Eren!" I didn't dare to look back to whoever called out to me. I just continued to run to the corner lot where my house was built years before I was born. Turning around the corner, I saw the building I once called home collapsed onto the ground.

"Mother!" The words flew from my mouth as I ran closer to the ruins of my home. Hoping my mother was safe, far from danger. Yet life wasn't always fair, not even to those that were considered good people. My mother was the unfortunate one just like many who were in the same situation or worse. She was buried under the ruins, crying as she looked up at me.

"Mom!"

"Eren." Mikasa's voice appeared softly behind me as she finally caught up to me.

"Mikasa, grab that side. We need to move the pillar." We struggled as we tried to lift the pillar off our mom. Suddenly that air grew cold, we stopped our movements and looked around to see what had caused the weather to change. Bloodsuckers. They managed to get inside the walls that were built 100 years ago to protect us from them. I shook my head and turned to face Mikasa.

"Hurry, Mikasa!"

"I know!"

We attempted the same actions as before. Failing again.

"The vampires are coming in. Eren, take Mikasa and run. Hurry!"

"I want you to run too. Hurry get mom out!"

"My legs have been crushed by the debris. I can't run even if I get out. Do you understand?"

"I'll carry you and run!-"

"Why can't you listen to what I say for once! Please listen to me! One last time! Mikasa!"

"No...no!"

"At this rate, all three of us will..."

Suddenly a trooper came and swooped into action. Landing on his feet as he raised his head.

"Hannes! Take the kids and run!"

"Don't take me lightly, Carla. I'll kill the bloodsuckers and save all three of you."

"Wait! You can't fight them!"

Mother was right. Hannes could save the two of us immediately. But he had an ego an opportunity to repay his debt. Yet no man that he acts to be would be able to control his fear. He stopped suddenly watching a pack of bloodsuckers that walked our way. Hannes looked down for a moment before turning and wrapping an arm around my waist. Throwing me over his shoulder and grabbing Mikasa.

"Hey, Hannes! What the hell are you doing?"

"Thank you, Hannes." My mother breathed. Her body shaking from her tears.

Hannes stares to run away. Holding me tighter as I struggled.

"Mom is still trapped in there! Mama!" I cried, my arms reaching out to her one last time, just hoping she'd reach out too.

"Eren! Mikasa! Live on!"

I watched as she covered her mouth and leaned into the ruins. Her face was tearstained. Suddenly bloodsuckers jumped out from all over. Lifting beams and rocks that fell on her. One stood out the most. He was very handsome and more of a white pastel than a green-white like the others. He lifted mom and turned her around to lean on his chest. The man stared straight at me. Smirking as he hugged my mother's slim waist tightly, loud cracks were visible. His face turned into annoyance at my mother's whimpers and struggles, his grip tightened until she went limp in his arms. His gaze still on me as he smiles evilly, opening his mouth and placing it on the crook on my others neck. Bitting harshly, blood leaking down to her dress.

"Stop!!!!"

The others around him howled happily. Running to my mother in the man's arms, they soon gripped anything they could touch and pulled her limbs away from her body. Her blood decorating the sky and ground.

Hannes ran further away from the scene. And the bloodsucker still watched our every move.

On this day, mankind received a grim reminder. We will in fear of the bloodsuckers shadows and forced to live in these cages called walls.

So I kinda improved my writing skills after letting loose and writing for you guys and for myself. If you could not already tell this is an erenxlevi fanfic based book. Who was the man the held Carla...idk? Thoughts on who it was? Bet you know who it is!  😆
