"Mikasa are you ready?"

"Mhm? Oh, yes, I just need to get the basket." Mikasa smiled before dashing off into the kitchen to get the basket. I waited by the door as she popped out and smiled.

"Done?"

"Yes." She nodded her head walking past me and opened the door. Mikasa looked over to me after we left the road we lived on. "Eren?"

"Yes?"

"You're so quiet today, what's wrong?"

"Nothing really, I just have this weird feeling like someone's watching me."

Her brows came together as she looked around our surroundings and back to me. "There's no one, Eren. Its all in here," She brought her index finger up to her head. Mikasa relaxed her facial expression and came closer to me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "No worries, if I big bad wolf happens to pop by I'll be here." She flashed me rare smile as it fell down into a horrible laugh. I couldn't resist as I laughed with her, sliding my own arm around her waist.

We walked like this until we reached the market, relaxing and coming back to a normal volume and conversation. She removed her arm first as she looked more concentrated. "Right. You go get the veggies and I'll get the fruits, we'll meet up at the meat section." I nodded as I slipped my arm away from her waist and grabbed the rag bag from her shoulder.

I went to grab all the vegetables we mostly used smelling and feeling the item and placing it into the bag when satisfied. I walked around the section one more time for good measures when I bumped into something hard.

"Oh sorry!" I looked down at a short figure as they pulled their hood down further grunting and walking away quickly. "Rude much." I turned around and walked towards the meat section, spotting Mikasa as she spoke to an older man behind the booth.

I stood next to her as she continued to speak to the stranger, her expression dull and emotionless. She ended the conversation with a thank you and turned to me.

"Got everything?"

"Yes."

"Okay." We paid for our groceries and walked home hand in hand. Before we got home Mikasa stopped and brought her brows together.

"Mikasa, what's wrong?" I looked  over my shoulder to see her bitting her lip.

"The signup. We forgot about it."

I shook my head and smiled. "Maybe tomorrow, I'm hungry and tired."

She smiled too, tightening her grip in mine. "Okay."
