Haze sat in the waiting room for her doctors appointment. Usually her mom would come but this time she had to do it on her own.

"Hey." She heard.

She looked up from her phone and there stood Jeremy.

"Hey." She said as he sat down.

"How you been?"

"I've been okay. Trying to stay stress free and all of that."

"So what happened to us? One day we was cool and the next..."

"I know and it wasn't you. I just needed to figure some things out. You know you and I are not right for each other."

"Yeah, I know but I will still be there for my baby."

"That's all I ask."

"Alright, so we cool? Your not gonna get mad and make me miss another doctors appointment are you?"

She laughed.

"No, I won't. I promise." She said as they sat and waited for her name to be called.

"Elijah, Jazzy, come on." Izzy yelled as they walked through the food court.

"I have little legs." Elijah said.

"What y'all want to eat?"

"Burger King."

Izzy went over to Burger King and got some food for him and the boys. He went to sit down and sat up there food.

"Hey." He heard.

He turned and there was Jasmine.

"Hey baby." He said as he stood up and kissed her.

She sat down.

"Hi Elijah, Hi Jazzy."

"Sup." Jazzy said.

"Are you my daddy's girlfriend?" Elijah asked.

"You gotta ask your daddy." She said looking at Izzy.

"Yeah, she my girlfriend."

"Okay, she gets me nice shoes." Elijah said nodding.

Jasmine laughed.

"So you on your break?"

"Yeah, the stores busy but I get off at seven." She said.

"You want me to come pick you up?"

"You don't have to. I have a ride."

"I know but I want to."

"Alright then, I'll be here at seven."

"I wanna go." Elijah said.

"But you won't." Izzy said and turned his attention back to Jasmine. "How long we been together?"

"A while."

"So you ready to take that step or you wanna wait cause I mean I waited this long I'm cool with it."

"We'll see when you pick me up at seven."

"Oh shit." Izzy thought and smiled. "I'm getting some!"
