The Losers ride to the market and are in the alleyway behind it, where the missing posters hang. When they arrive Richie attempts to play a marchers instrument but soon enough the band player gets tired of Richie and shoves him away.

"What the fuck dude?" Richie asks upset. It's the Derry Summer Fair currently and everyone is everywhere. Eddie hands Richie an ice cream when the musician gets tired of Richie and Ella was given an ice cream too.

"Edward Corcoran," Stan started looking at a missing poster, "They say the found part of his arm all chewed up near the standpipe."

"Asked me for a pencil once." Ben said. Bill lifted up Corcoran's poster revealing Betty Ripsom's, it was as if nobody remembered her.

"It's like she's been f-f-forgotten because Corcran is missing." Bill said not thinking.

"That's so sad. How can this town be so cold hearted?" Ella scoffs.

"It's like nobody even cares about anyone here." Eddie agrees in the same tone.

"Are you two siblings?" Mike asks the Kaspbraks.

"They're twins, weird considering Eddie's ugly and short, and Ella's pretty and tall." Richie joked making Ella happy and Eddie frown.

"Really Richie?" Eddie asked. Richie thought for a second.

"You're right, Ella's ugly too." He shrugged, Ella frowned.

"Shut up frog face." Ella rolled her eyes.

"I'm joking you two, teens these days, so emotional." Richie sighs.

"Yeah, they're a real handful." Eddie said and rolled his eyes as well. The others laughed at their small argument and they all walked to a nearby bench at the park, and sat.

"Is this ever going to end?" Stan asks the group about the missing kids.

"It will for a while." Ben responds,

"What do you mean?" Beverly asks.

"So I was going over all my Derry research and I charted out big events. You know like the Ironworks Explosion in 1908, the Bradly's gang in 35' and the Black Spot in 62', and now kids being...I realized this stuff happens every..."

"Twenty seven years." Bill finished with Ben.

"Jesus." Ella sighs at the facts.

"So let me get this straight," Eddie starts, "it comes out to eat kids for like a year then what? Goes back into hibernation?" He asked.

"Maybe it's like that one bug, what do you call it? Cicadas." Stan suggest,

"Oh yeah, that bug that comes out every seventeen years." Ella finishes learning about the bug when Eddie was paranoid about bugs for a month.

"My grandfather thinks this town is cursed. He says that all bad things happen in this town are because of one thing... an evil thing that feeds off the people in Derry." Mike says,

"Well how can it be one thing? We all saw something different." Ella ask.

"Maybe it knows what scares us most? Maybe that's what we see." Mike answers.

"We saw a leaper, looked like a walking infection." Eddie shivered at his and Ella's encounter with It.

"But you guys didn't, none of this is real. Not Eddie's leaper, Bill seeing Georgie, or that woman I keep seeing..." Stan trails off.

"Is she hot?" Richie asks.

"No you dipshit she isn't. Her face is all messed up! None of this makes any sense! It's all like one bad dream!" Stan yells but not loud enough to cause commotion.

"I don't think so, I know the difference between real life and I dream okay?" Mike said.

"Why? What did you see?" Eddie asked.

"You know that house that burned down on Harris Avenue? Well I was inside it while it was burning down, my parents too. Before I was rescued my mom and dad were trapped in the next room next to me. They were pushing and shoving, pounding on the door trying to get to me, but it was too hot. When the firemen found them, their skin on their hands were melted to the bone." Mike explains sadly.

"I'm not afraid of infections like Eddie is though." Ella mentions.

"What are you afraid of then?" Ben asks.

"I don't know, drowning must suck." Ella says, making up a fear on the spot.

"You've never mentioned being afraid of drowning." Eddie says confused. Ella give him a look as in, "I'll tell you an actual fear I have later.", Eddie nods.

"We're all afraid of something." Mike says,

"You got that right." Richie agrees.

"Why Rich? What're you afraid of?" Eddie asks.

"Clowns." Richie sighs looking back at the clown entertaining the fair.
