"Heavens turn crimson

Unity in power

Legion of hell

Let loose it's wrath

A pleasing sacrifice

Blood and soul;

Above all,

Light prevails

Only then

Only one survives"

Lanaya raised her brow, curious as to what the poem meant. She was about to turn the page, when she felt someone else's presence.

"Book thief!" the keeper of the hidden sanctum exclaimed as he ran down towards the round table where Lanaya was browsing through the sacred book of yore.

"Thief!" the keeper yelled. Lanaya hid the book in her handbag. She activated one of her Psionic Traps and immobilized the keeper for some time. She took out a scroll of teleportation and vanished from the sanctum before the keeper regained his pace.

Mortred knelt down on the grass. She bent over to drink and wash her face with the river's water in the middle of a forest. It was cold yet soothing. She looked at her reflection on the water, and noticed that she had been covered with blood and sand. She looked around, and listened to the wind. She was alone. She carefully took off her clothes one by one, and took a dip in the river. Her wet skin glowed with sunlight as she brushed her hair with her hands. A few moments later, she got out of the water feeling refreshed. She dried herself before putting on the Raiments of the Eventide.

She sat down under a tree and took out the blooded book she found from the village last night. She was curious as to what the book contains, and why that once good man sacrificed his loved ones. What was his goal?

Suddenly, she heard something in the wind. Faint cries of help coming from the north. She wasted no time. She hid the book back and ran north. She came to a halt when she encountered the forest creatures who were running for safety.
"What's going on?" she asked one of the forest fairies.

"T-The m-monster from the w-woodlands has awaken!" The fairy said in sheer fright before joining back to the others.

Monster? Curiosity got her. As she made her way, she noticed her scroll glowed red. She opened it. A new name has been added.

"...Roshan..?"

A loud roar echoed throughout the forest, not coming from afar. She continued running until she reached the boundary between the forest and the woodlands. And there she saw Aiushtha, along side with a very familiar face, Mireska, a mischievous Fae. They were fighting against the monster that the forest creatures so feared, Roshan the Immortal, and ancient creep who had slept for hundreds of years in the woodlands. According to legends, whoever slays Roshan will be gifted with immortality and gold.

"Immortality, huh?" Mortred said to herself before moving in the shadows towards the commotion not far from her. From there she saw all too familiar heroes fighting off the said monster.

Aiushtha tried to cast a spell on him, but it had no effect. Mireska snared Roshan in a maze of brambles but only for a split second.

Roshan leaped from the ground and hit the ground with a seismic blow. The two heroes stumbled down, astonished by the devastating blow. Roshan raised its big fists to pummel them down. That's when Mortred saw her opening. With quicken pace, she appeared in front of the raging beast and threw her dagger.

The dagger deflected as some kind of forcefield that protected the said being broke out, leaving it vulnerable. The beast swung its overpowered hand and hit Mortred and everyone else off their feet. As they try to get back on their feet, Roshan charged towards them with great force. The heroes braced themselves.

All of a sudden, a loud roar echoed across the fields. It came from the forest. It was coursing fast. Out of the shadows it came, enraged with what the beast has done to his friends and to the woodland creatures.

"Hraaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuugh!" he bellowed and rushed towards the gargantuan beast with his overpowered claws. "Come not near the darkwoods where my kindred sleeps!"

Aiushtha exclaimed in glee upon seeing her woodland friend. "Fuzzy Wuzzy!"
