Ms. Potts showed Isabelle and I where we would be sitting. Isabelle and I waited for everyone to be seated then we sat. Isabelle sat beside Ms. Potts and I sat between Isabelle and Captain Rogers. I tried to listen to what Ms. Potts was saying, but I couldn't hear. I gave up on trying to listen and leaned towards the captain to whisper something.

"How does it feel to trust people again?" I questioned. He laughed at my remark then smiled at me.

"I trust these people," he spoke.

"Really?" I asked with a cocked eyebrow. He nodded a little.

"Do you trust these people?" he asked.

"I trust them as long as they trust me," I said. Isabelle hit my arm and I faced her. She nodded her head towards somewhere and I looked where she was nodding. I saw a man standing alone with long brown hair. I didn't know what she wanted me to do about him.

"I'm going to go talk to him," she said.

"Who is he?" I asked. She stood and left without answering me. I looked towards Ms. Potts, but she was involved in a conversation somewhere else. I looked back at Isabelle then Captain Rogers looked back with me.

"I see she's met Bucky," he said. I faced him.

"Bucky?" I asked. He nodded.

"He's my friend," he replied. I nodded and turned back around.

"Is he supposed to be sitting with us?" I asked.

"He doesn't want to," Captain Rogers replied. I titled my head. "My guess is as good as yours." I looked back at the two and Isabelle started laughing. I smiled then turned back. "So, miss," Captain Rogers started.

"Anastasia," I said. He nodded and smiled.

"How did you get this job?" he asked. I shrugged.

"Honestly, I don't know," I laughed a little.

Ms. Potts caught my attention and asked me to help. I followed her and she showed me what I should do. I worked on what she told me to do then moved on when the speaker started speaking. I went to the bar to grab a drink. Isabelle and Bucky had taken my spot at the table, so I stood at the bar. The bartender handed me a drink and I cradled it in my hand before taking a sip. Captain Rogers looked back at me and I smiled at him. He smiled back then turned his attention back to the speaker.

The speaker finished and I walked back to my seat. Bucky and Isabelle went somewhere, I didn't bother to search. Isabelle was a big girl. She could handle herself. Captain Rogers was holding a conversation with someone to the left of him, so I looked around the table at everyone. Ms. Romanoff wasn't at the table and neither was Ms. Potts. I felt a yawn approach and I quickly covered my mouth. I wiped the tears that formed away and stretched in the small space I was sitting in.

Captain Rogers finished his conversation once the man he was speaking to walked away from the table with Ms. Romanoff. I took a sip of my drink and turned my attention back to the Captain. I don't know what it was about the man, but I was interested in him. After everything he had been through, it was amazing he was still alive. It was interesting to me. He faced me and smiled.

"So, Captain Rogers, what's been on your agenda?" I asked. He laughed a little and placed a hand on his chest.

"You can call me Steve," he said. "And just looking out for myself."

"And how's that going?" I asked. He thought about my question for a minute, then smiled.

"Pretty well," he replied. I nodded.

The night went on and my conversation with Captain Rogers deepened. I told him more about myself and he told me things that were going on in his life. Isabelle told me that she would meet me back at the tower as I started to leave with the Captain. I nodded and followed Steve to his ride. I found out his ride was a motorcycle and nervously chuckled.

"What?" Captain Rogers asked with a small laugh.

"I can't ride that," I laughed.

"Why not?" he asked.

"Well," I thought about what my answer would be. Maybe it was because we would be sitting so close, or maybe because I'd never been on a motorcycle. "I've never been on one before," I said. He smiled and helped me on the bike.

"Just," he took ahold of my hands and wrapped them around his waist, "hold on to me," he said. He looked back at me and I nodded, letting him know I understood. He smiled and started the motorcycle.

He drove us back to the tower and we were the first ones there. I followed him to the elevator and held my clutch in front of me. I stared down at the ground. I didn't know how to feel. Riding the motorcycle gave me such a rush. I didn't know how to handle my adrenaline rush. I'd never had one.

After awhile of waiting on the top floor, everyone started to pile in. Isabelle and Bucky were the last of the few to enter. I asked Isabelle if she was ready to leave and she nodded. We said our goodbyes then left for the car. I drove her car back to my place and asked if she wanted to stay the night. She agreed to and we headed inside my apartment. We changed into pajamas and I helped her fix the extra bedroom. It wasn't dirty, but it still needed fixing.

"So, I saw you with Steve," Isabelle said.

"He's friendly," I said. I folded a blanket and set it on the bed. "I saw you with Bucky." I cocked an eyebrow up and she blushed a deep red.

"I couldn't believe I was actually speaking to him," she replied. "He's so amazing."

"I hope you work with him," I said. She smiled and started to imagine it. I could tell she had a crush. "Ok, Belle. Get to bed," I said. She nodded and I left the room after saying goodnight.

I crawled into bed after brushing my teeth and removing my makeup then turned on the tv. The news ran across the screen. Nothing important to me. I watched news about the charity event that I had attended tonight and heard my name as well as Isabelle's. I listened to what they were saying about us. When I realized it was nothing important, I turned off the tv, then the light, then fell asleep.
