"The timeframes don't match, do we have autopsy records?"
"Only verification, and everything checked out"
"Okay", Kate started to pace, holding her phone in one hand as she talked to Espo. "We need to get some sort of record or evidence to open the case up, and-"
Her eyes flicked over to the flash drive on the table. "Actually, I might have an idea. Get Ryan in on this, and talk to Martha and Alexis, and see if you can find out if there were any identifiable chemicals at the scene. Do you think you and Ryan could work with that?"
"Yeah"
"Thanks, this means a lot Espo"
"It's nothing, Beckett. If there's a chance that he's alive, we'll all be looking"
"Thanks, call me when you find something", she ended the call and sat down.

She stood up again and grabbed the flash drive, then headed over to her laptop.
She tapped her fingers against the table as she waited for it to boot up.
Kate plugged the flash drive in and clicked on the folder marked Apples. She grinned recalling their first case together.
She leaned forward and began to read:

Oh well, tell me what you think! And thanks for reading!
