The small notebook glowed a soft amber light, before combusting and floating off in small, yellow pieces.
A small sob escaped her lips, she reached up, touching the tears which had escaped her eyes. "Im crying?"
And so the blonde looked forwards, her best friend stood infront of her. He'd been bruised in battle, yet emerged triumphant as usual. Lucy felt her feet move against her will against the ruinned battleground, until she stood behind her partner.
Lucy stepped forwards, wrapping her arms against the slim waist of her friend, relaxing against his muscular frame.
His muscles tensed against the sudden contact, and he looked at her and relaxed. "Hey, is something wrong?" He asked in a tired voice. "No it's nothing." She smiled, "Thank you."
And with that they stayed, her head nuzzled into his back, listening to his soft breaths. "I wonder where Future Lucy ended up."
