"Okay we are gonna have to skip coffee this morning." Hannah states while turning the radio down as we drive to campus for our first day as sophomores at Uni.
"Are you serious?!" I stated, ugh coffee is my only life saver in college.
"Well we'd be driving up to Starbucks right now if it weren't for someone not setting the alarm." She states simply, finally putting her hands back on the wheel. Never let someone who talk with their hands drive.
"If you don't shut up and stop talking for one millisecond of your life, I shit you not, you will get us killed." I snap laughing, while turning the radio back up.
"Your just upset because your a cranky bitch." Hannah laughs, poking me in the side.
I instantly let out a fit of laughter, squirming in my seat, "Pay attention to the road, you dimwit."
She just laughs as we pull up to campus. I step out on the car and wish Hannah good luck on her first day. I walk into my first class, advanced chemistry. I sigh as I sit down in the back row. It's joy such a joy to be here, ya know? Whoops, try again.
There's not many people in here, except for the loud group of guys in the corner. There they are. Harry, Louis, Liam, Zayn, and Niall. The group of boys that everyone says to stay away from, the type of boys my mom would've warned me about. I've heard so many rumors. All there dark clothing, mysterious aura, and tattoos make those rumors believable. God, that's just so wrong. Permanently printing something onto your body that will probably mean nothing to you in the next year? No thanks. The leader, Harry, is apparently the worst. At least thats what people say. I've only had classes with these boys, I've never spoke to them before and I don't plan to. I quickly come back to reality. The awkward, embarrassing reality. He's staring back at me. Green irises boring into my dog poop brown ones. I quickly snap my head away from his intimidating gaze.
Luckily, his lingering gaze doesn't last long as the chemistry professor walks in. There's more kids in here now, I must've been staring for awhile. Oh well, not like I'm gonna speak to him anyway. That's definitely a no go.
God Ashton, get your shit together.
The professor tells us that his name is Mr. Crewe, and the announces that he will now be taking attendance. I, out of habit and disgust, cringe back in my seat. I'm literally counting down the seconds until he calls my name, which fortunately, is at the beginning.
"Ashton Bea!" Mr. Crewe calls out, damn, any louder and I think the walls might've come crumbling down.
I roll my eyes and mumble a few colorful words under my breath, before calling out a "here" and sinking down in my seat.
Looking down at the fake wood of my desk, I feel two holes burning into my head. I hesitantly look up and meet a pair of forest green eyes.. again.
----
Mr. Crewe talked about how his class works and such, since he was one of the few new professors here. He then decided to dismiss us early, since it was "the first day of a great school year." Hurray. Bring on the fireworks. You catching my sarcasm, because it's there.
Everyone hurries out of the classroom, probably to go smoke weed or something. Who cares? Not my lungs. As I'm walking down the hallway towards the doors to freedom, I can hear quiet, mumbling voices behind me. I turn around to look and see who it might be, but quickly snap my body back around as my eyes connect with some vaguely familiar green ones. I speed myself up, trying to get to the door to avoid an awkward interaction. It's not only that though, these boys give of that "don't mess with us, or we'll rip your damn head off.", aura.
