Do birds ever shut up? Apparently not.
Can a girl ever get some sleep? Apparently not.
I roll over, taking my pillow with me, trying to shut the little twats tweeting out of my earshot. Big man in the sky has it in for me I swear. I mean, what the hell did I do? Is it because I don't pray?
Whatever.
My head is pounding, and my stomach hurts. That's just great.
You have a brother who might be part of a gang you arse, get yourself together. You have better things to worry about, put your selfish thoughts to rest.
Thank you, subconscious.
I went to bed last night thinking about that, I wake up thinking about that. Sleeping is the only rest my mind gets. What am I gonna do when I see Harry today? He most definitely saw me run away from the window.
I get up and walk to the bathroom, wincing in pain. While I do my business, I notice the red blood staining my underwear. That's just great. The big man in the sky must really be laughing his arse off at me, high hiving Mother Nature. Double Advil it is for me.
After I brush my teeth and walk into my room and pick out my outfit of the day. Georgia Bulldogs tee, with black nike athletic shorts, and black free runs? I think yes. I got back into the bathroom and braid my long, wavy brown hair to the side. While I'm here, I brush my teeth too. Looking at myself in the mirror, I smile and nod jogging down the hall to the stairs.
Once I hit the kitchen Hannah looks up, judging my outfit as usual. I tilt my head to the side, telepathically asking her if I look halfway decent. I may not care what others think of me and if I don't look on point everyday, but I don't want to look like I came from little ole Georgia. I did though so, what are you going to do about it? Hannah nods and goes back to shoving cereal in her mouth and scrolling through Twitter.
I walk over to the seat beside Hannah at the island in our kitchen, and grab my KAVU. I take my headphones and plug them into my phone.
"No ride?" Hannah speaks for the first time this morning. Let me tell you a little secret, we aren't big talkers in the morning.
"It speaks!" I say, throwing my hands in the air. "And yeah, need to clear the thinker." I say, tapping my head.
"Your totally on it. I put a twix in your bag just in case." Hannah says laughing and shoving me to the side.
Once I gain my balance again, I speak, "How do you always know? And thank you."
"Because you start and day before me and your always on ti-. Never mind." she stops speaking once she realizes how weird she sounds.
"And on that note, I'm gone. Love you!" I scream walking towards to door.
"Bye!" She screams back.
"Hey!" I say, officially offended.
"I love you, now please leave!" She yells.
I slam the door behind me, taking a deep breath and jamming my ear buds in my ears. I feel a little bit better, my best friend can always put me in a better mood.
With my KAVU strapped tightly to my back at start my run to the campus. Don't ask me why I'm doing this during this specific week of this month, it just for some reason helps okay? okay. Eheh, see what I did there?
