Karen:

Gosh Venus so gonna make me late. I repeatedly chanting the words in my mind as I hastily running in my heels towards the building. I almost tripped but I managed to swiftly masked it by my weird movement whatsoever. I finally spotted an opening at the lift and I pushed myself forward. "Hold the door! Stop! Hold it!" Come on Karen! Too late. I saw the door almost close and I thought I'm gonna be super late until a hand popped out from inside stopping it. Wasting no time, I rushed into the elevator. I closed my eyes while trying to catch up my breath, I'm definitely not a fit person. "Thank..." I sucked up oxygen, "you..." breathed out carbon dioxide. Still gasping for air like a fish I glanced to the person who's helping me, Vyron. I got static for like 5 seconds because he would be the last person in the back of my mind. Him as the usual, with a stone cold face didn't even acknowledge my  presence. Never mind as long as he's willing to help me just now.

I would never thought being in the same place with him literally oozes out torturing awkwardness. Even as a few people behind us slowly getting out to their own floor, the tension didn't even dissipate a little. I keep on fanning and wiping my face from the heat and sweat just to make sure I have something to occupy myself with. Okay fine! I can't handle the awkwardness, I'll say something to ease it.

"Hi, good morning." I politely greeted him while flashing an awkward smile. Unfortunately to add more to my monday blues plate, the elevator dings. The door was opened at the right moment, he glanced at me with an expressionless face before getting out from the elevator. I, the fool one still with my awkward smile followed his movement with my eyes and head. He keeps on walking until he disappeared from my view, more like because the door already closed. That was so freakingly crazily awkward! Oh my goodness! That was so embarassing! Why did I have to greet the man?! Why Karen?! Why?! I was screaming inside but I have to play it cool because there's still two other people left with me.

I finally reached my floor to see Matt who's sitting outside of the office waiting. He instantly stand up the moment he notice my arrival, he's waiting for me I guess.

"I've been waiting for you Karen, come with me." He said it with a serious tone, long gone the friendly Matt. "Mr Tyrone wants to meet you."

I cluelessly and a little bit nervously followed him to his department and boy I tell you how many suspicious eyes were on me the moment I stepped into the floor. All of the staffs were watching me like I'm their prey, some even rolled their eyes! What happened?! The sound of Matt's knocking at the door startled me out, I realized we're about to enter Mr Tyrone's office. We then went inside to see a dead serious Mr Tyrone sitting behind his desk probably waiting for us.

"Good, you're here." His tone were flat and a little bit off. Without wasting any time, he took out a flashdrive that I think I've seen it somewhere. "Would you care to explain to me?" He said while his hand gesturing to the flashdrive, but I was confusedly standing in front of him. Out of nowhere, Matt just brought me here and now he asked strange questions.

"I-"

I was going to say something but he already cut me off with it. "I trusted you with a simple task, only give the documents to Mr Knight and guess what. You betrayed the company." What the heck? This escalated so quick.

"What?"

"Stop playing dumb Ms Smith." Now Mr Tyrone obviously showed clear signs of annoyance. "Don't tell me you don't know that our rival knows about the secret project." This getting crazier each second passed.
