Karen:
The sound of the doorbell alerted me and I hurriedly ran to the door as fast as I can. I felt giddy all morning waiting for him, he said yesterday that he'll come with us together to the company. I almost tripped on my way running towards the door but to my dismay, it's not who I was expecting the whole time when I opened the door.
"Good morning sis." I could feel my excitement immediately toned-down by the sight of Liam. Not that I don't like them, I was just having a slight disappointment. Ian didn't keep his words, how dare he..hmph.
"Oh, Liam?" The disappointed tone accidentally escaped from my mouth but Liam were oblivious to it and he's the one who's genuinely excited.
"Hi sis!" Josh greeted suddenly from behind Liam, David then popped out from the side and greeted me too. I wonder if Ian was standing behind David. "Stop searching for him already, he's not coming cause he's busy with the work." Josh narrowed his eyes mockingly at me before shaking his head. Awkwardly, I could only chuckled in front of them. I guess it was obvious I was anticipating their older brother. I then invited them to come inside and we went straight towards the kitchen counter.
"That's why we're here to pick the both of you to the company." Liam said to me while the three of them already taking their own stool to sit, I think they were so cute moving like that in order, like puppies.
Right on that moment, Venus came out from her room all well prepared. I was the first one to get up early to get ready and made the breakfast, all thanks to someone who doesn't keep his words. Venus silently took her own seat beside me and facing them. She poured herself orange juice while I was preparing coffee for the boys. "You three don't need to go to work?" I asked them.
"No, we can make time for you." David cheerfully answered. To see him smiling like this always soothing my heart. He's the least speaking person in the trio, Liam in the middle are so-so and Josh the talkative, what a combination.
"Wow, higher position people always this free?" I poured their coffee and then went to sit on my place while Venus as usual, she doesn't care about her surrounding as she silently munching on her sandwich.
"No, we're extremely busy but for both these beautiful ladies, anything can be arranged." Josh wiggled his eyebrows while flashing weird smile but his smile were actually towards Venus, she doesn't even spare him a glance. I can't help to cringe at his attempt. The other two on the other hand were busy enjoying their coffees.
While munching on my sandwich, I replied back to him. "You sure have some skills there Josh, I'm guessing ladies were all melting with your flattery." Josh nodded proudly by my words, his smile indicating that he loves my 'compliment'.
Venus snorted beside me, flashing a smirk by herself after rolling her eyes. "Stupid ladies I guess."
To say that the breakfast went smooth I don't think so, because after Venus's harmless comment, Josh and her were bickering nonstop, they keep on throwing shades to each other and they won't stop. Not until David stepped in, that's when our ears finally get some rest. Both Venus and Josh were the complete opposite pole, like fire and water, day and night. They can't be near with each other.
When we reached the place, it's truly a remarkable building. People were continuously going in and out showing how busy this organisation is. Me and Venus were truly in awe but the three of them weren't, Josh even yawned. We're heading towards the elevator when suddenly mother nature decided to make the call. I need to pee.
