We quickly got up and grabbed our stuff. "We have you surrounded. Come out with your hands behind your head." A officer shouted behind the closed door. I grabbed Laura's hand. "Do you trust me?" I ask. She nods. "Okay. Get on my back and hold on as tight as you can." I say. She looks confused. "Just do it." I say. They start banging on the door to force it open. She quickly hops on. We were on the 5th floor. I'm taking the risk. I grab my harness and connect it to the balcony. "Ready." I ask. She nods. "Yes." She says. I held on and as soon as the door busted open, I jumped down. Here goes nothing.

They shot at us as we went. I ducked each time. "Ah!" Laura cried out. I quickly paced down. "Hold on. Were almost there." I say. Just then my feet hit the ground. I quickly unbuckled us. I pulled her over my shoulder. "I'll get you to safety." I said. I ran as fast as I could. I jumped in our car and placed her in the passenger seat. She held her side and took a breath. I stepped on it and we drove at full speed. I had cops at my tail. I had to lose them. "Just hold on." I say. She nods. "Okay." She said. I took a sharp U turn and went in opposite direction. I know this is dangerous but I have to. Here goes nothing. I stepped on the break. "Ugh!" She groaned. "Ready?" I ask. I eyed the ramp on the side. Yes we may land in water but I'm taking that chance. "We have you surrounded. Get out of the vehicle." They ordered. I put it in drive. I raise my speed. Soon I'm zooming towards them while being shot at. I make it and continue driving. Woah!

"Okay this may sting. So hold on.Bite down on this." I say. She takes the cloth and puts it in her mouth. I heat the metal. "Just do it." She said. I nodded and poured healing alcohol in the wound. She shifted. "Stay still.It will be over before you know it." I say. I tied her down. "Stay." I say. She bit down harder. I pour some more alcohol in the wound. I then grabbed the metal. I reached into it. She held on the chair tightly. I as softly and carefully as I could, grabbed the bullet. I removed it and it fell into the bowl next to me. She instantly clung onto me."It's over." I say. She weakly smiles and passes out. I wipe her tears and pet her hair. I finish cleaning her wound and bandage it. I kiss her forehead and walk away to throw everything away.

I called my mom. "Ross! Honey where are you!!?" She asked as soon as she picked up. "I'm fine mom. Don't worry about me." I say. "No! Your my child, my baby!! Tell me where you are!!" She said. "No. Mom. I will be home soon, I promise but you won't be happy." I say and look up. "Ross please baby come home. I miss you. I can't think of something horrible happening to you. please come home." She cried. "I love you. Tell dad I love him too." I say. "Ross I-" I hang up. I looked over at the table. I grabbed some food and sat down to eat as I watched Laura sleep.

"Drake!!! I'm here!!" I say as I walked into the building. "Ah! I thought you never come." He smirked. "A promise is a promise." I say. His smirk didn't go anywhere. "Really? Huh? Seems to me that you really thought only for a second." He said. I noticed Randy and his wanna be posers. I cracked my knuckles. This is much better than I thought. "Hey Randy. Still mad about the bat?" I smirk. He clentched his jaws. "Aww. Jack is still your cheerleader eh?" I ask. They balled their fists. "You don't wanna do that. Don't push your luck Lynch." Drake called behind him. He pulled out a gun. I laugh. "Classic. Sometimes I wonder exactly how you never got caught". I say. He smirks."Your pretty smart figure it out now. But wait! You couldn't figure out what you were too blind to see." He smirked. Randy then approached. I was ready for anything to come my way. "Enough. Are you all bark but no bite?" I ask. Drake stands up and they all surround me. I smirked. All of them tried to swing at me. I pushed two of them towards each other and punched out his brother. "Randy!!" Drake called as he approached his fallen brother. "Amazing eh?" I ask. "You'll pay." He said and charged at me. I moved out of the way.Jack and the other guy followed. I dropped both of them in a split second. It was just me and Drake. I grabbed his head and punched him right in the face. "This is for hurting Laura." I shout. I punched him then kicked him in the gut. He fell down. "Why would you do all of this? Just to get your ass wooped. You even wanted to kill her!!" I say. I then knee him. He drops to his knees. I will kill him. I told hold of the gun. I pulled in his face. "So? End it!! You wouldn't even pull that trigger even if your life depended on it." He smirked. I shot the celing. He looked taken back. "I'm Ross Shor Lynch. I may not be a hero but I'm definately not a murderer. It would embark on my parents reputation but you will be in prison." I say. "Along with little Laura." He smirked. "It's funny how she would do anything to protect you and now look what she has done." He smiled smugly. I tilted my head. I felt something cold on my neck. "Drop the gun." I heard the voice I thought was on my side say. I turn and look at her. Laura. She pointed a gun at me.
