The witch doesn't really like children, you know? But then, you must be wondering why the witch made such a...strange deal indeed. One would argue she is going nuts.
Nah. Wrong. The witch needs assistance to do her work, checking the slaves, cleaning the house, and grocery shopping to make her food.
"Witch Persephone, my wife just birthed a healthy son and as part of our deal, I will take care of my son until he grows up and turned 10. Then on his 10th birthday, I will give him to you. Just, please don't do anything to hurt our precious son." the slave, his voice shaky, and trembling in fear can only look away from the Witch's scary eyes..
"Hmm. Good enough for me. When he is still a baby, he will be too much trouble for me to handle. But. Before he finally aged 10, you are not totally free under my will. I will check up on him every year he aged up. Deal?"
"Yes, witch Persephone. I am completely under your will and obligations."
Hearing praises from her slave always makes Witch Persephone feels smug, so she gives an uneven grin.
"Very well, pet. Keep doing this and I will reward you soon. Also for you and your sad little wife." The Witch then proceeds to trace the slave's chest with her finger in a seductive manner to fool the slave. Alas, she just wants to manipulate him.
"Yes, my queen." The slave then nods and goes home to met his family.
--ONE YEAR LATER--
It's the boy's one year birthday and Witch Persephone is wearing disguises to see how is the little boy doing and curious on what kind of boy he will grow up to be. When Persephone is using magic to disguise herself, she always makes sure to be a completely different person with a new name too. This time, her disguise name is Rachel Ho. She will be using this every time she wants to meet the little boy.
As Persephone has her disguise on check, she's on the street, blowing a flirty kiss to every man she meets, for her own amusement, and to make the man's sad wife all jealous and enraged and make them fight. Oh boy, oh boy, do Persephone is a person who loves a petty drama.
Later, Persephone arrives at the slave's house, knocking the door.
"Anyone home?"
The door opens to find a woman standing in front of the opened door.
"Who are you?" said the woman, eyes gazing with distrust.
Ah, this woman must be the slave's sad little wife. The Witch thought. He had good taste, at least. Persephone chuckles to herself.
"I'm Rachel Ho. I believe your husband had already told you about me?" she said, giving her a friendly smile.
The Wife's eyes widen in horror, suddenly hit with realization, "You...! You are that evil witch who captured and abused my husband!"
"I beg your pardon?"
Then another hurried step come from behind the door. It's the husband, Persephone's slave.
"My Queen. Welcome to our humble abode. You must like to meet my little boy, yes?" the slave bowed his head, humble.
"Ah, good pet. Although your wife is an annoyance. Please tell her I'm not going to harm you." She said, with a flirty tone.
