Chapter 5: Reality Sets In

"Sophie? Can I talk to you?"

I poke an eye open to see a curly haired boy staring at me.

"Hi Curly.." I look over to the clock that says its 3:30 am and sit up. "What can I do for you at this ungodly hour?" I smile. But I feel it falter as I remember hearing someone say they were falling for me.

"I just wanted to talk to you about Lou..He says he's taking you to Paris Friday and-"

"Woah! Wait what?! Who said he was taking me to Paris? It was just a joke!" I say a little louder than I should have.

"You're not supposed to know..But I kinda don't want you to go, Soph." He blushes and looks down at his hands that were folded in his lap.

"I don't want to go all the way over there. I'm fine with a Starbuck's but why don't you want me to go?" I bite lip, already predicting the answer.

"Because, Soph." He looked up and sighed. "I like you a lot. And I don't want to lose to Louis again. I met Eleanor and he took her. Everytime we meet a beautiful girl. He gets them. And he breaks their hearts. Everyone always says it's me that's the heartbreaker..But really I'm not. I don't even think Liam's allowing us to even like you." He sighed again and threw himself laying down next to me and I laid back too.

I had so many thoughts running threw my head. A couple days ago, if you asked me where I would be today I would probably say 6 feet under. Now I have 2 boys saying they like me? This is too much.

"Please say something." He whispered and I turned my head and saw him with his eyes pressed close and a tear falling out of one.

"I think..I should cancel the date...I honestly need some time to think. My life feels like a bad movie. Everything that's happened in 3 days is unreal. Harry...I don't think I'm ready for this. With anyone. I want someone to understand." I sigh. He turns and his eyes bore into mine.

"Let me understand. Tell me what to understand and I will do it, Sophie. I've never felt myself care more about a girl. I don't know what I'm feeling..But if you need someone to understand I will be here." He smiles at me. I don't know what to say honestly. But I need to talk to Louis and-

"Well you look comfortable." I hear a cold voice ask. Harry and I both shoot up to see Louis in my doorway looking somber. His face is twisted in pain but his eyes are full of ice and it feels like he's throwing knives at us.

"Lou.." I start but he won't hear.

"Don't Lou me. You've been here 3 days and this already seems like something we read when we travel. Pick one of us and stick with them. Don't play games. Because frankly I don't think we'll chase you." He sneers and walks out.

I'm at a lost for words. I'm doing a Eleanor.

"Don't listen to him. If he came in here and saw us doing absolutely nothing and he jumped to conclusions..He has problems. I would chase you." He smiles at me lopsided. Oh my god. What lopsided smiles do to me.

"Thanks Harry...But honestly I think right now..We should stay friends until I-" My train of thought was gone. Poof. Disappeared as soon as those beautiful pink lips touched mine. My body was thrown into air. Like when you drop in a rollercoaster and your heart raises and your stomach drops but it feels amazing and thrilling and worth the fall. My lips were on fire. The passion. Was unbelievable.

He pushed me down on the bed slightly and kissed my lips tenderly one last time before pulling back.

"That was.."

"Wow." I smiled and looked above me.

"I never felt that before."

"Neither did I."

"What does this mean, Soph?"

I looked back and him and sighed.

"I don't know, Harry."

But I did know. My heart is being pulled in different directions and I can't choose one.

But I know that I'm falling for someone. I just can't figure out who.

Hope you liked this short chapter! School started which means late updates I'm sorry! My power went out because of a certain blow dryer from a certain parent that went out the window. Just saying. It fell in the garbage shoot before they moved it. Oh yeah. I'm a cool cat yo.
