Rainbow Dash POV
The room was dull colored, the bright pink pony sticking out among it. Rainbow sat at her bedside, waiting for the news. Pinkie Pie was asleep, having been utterly exhausted after the last three days. Rainbow wasn't sure what to do, she wanted to go get her other friends and tell them what happened, yet she didn't think she could speak about it. The adrenaline of it all was only starting to wear off.
Suddenly Rainbow stood up, carefully placing a hoof on Pinkie. "Pinkie?" She spoke softly.
"Yeah Dashie?" Pinkie mumbled.
"I need to get the others and tell Princess Celestia.." Rainbow paused, shivering." Where he is", she finished.
"Okay" Pinkie replied, hugging Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow walked out of the room slowly, "If you need anything have the nurse get me." Then she left, breaking into a run once of the hospital. Taking flight, she headed towards Twilight's castle.
Rainbow landed at the castle door. She paused, taking a deep breath in an attempt to relax her nerves. Just explain it and that's all, Pinkie is safe, she thought to herself.
Rainbow let herself in, "Twilight " she called. Spike walked over to her, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "Did you find Pinkie?" He asked.
"Yes and it's not good, I need Twilight and the others" Rainbow spoke quickly,growing more anxious by the second.
As Spike ran off to get Twilight Rainbow turned her attention to the walls. The shades of purple were soothing, reminding her that the worst of it was over. The six of them had been through so much, we will get through this too, Rainbow Dash thought to herself.
Twilight rushed over to Rainbow Dash, "Where is she? Spike said it wasn't good." She quickly grabbed her saddlebag, ready to leave.
"I...I don't think I can say all of it...it was so bad" Rainbow forced herself not to tear up. She was not one to cry, but she felt like a failure. She managed to save Pinkie but, she felt like she should've prevented what had happened to her. Pinkie was so full if love and life, so bright and happy, it wasn't fair.
"Get a letter to the Princess, she needs to come down right away. The others need to come with you to the hospital. I ...I need to get back to Pinkie." Rainbow spoke with purpose, glancing at the door, the need to get back to Pinkie overwhelming her.
"I'm on it. Spike take a letter" Twilight said, "You go Rainbow, we can handle this."
With that Rainbow exited the castle and flew towards the hospital once again. The leaves of the trees near by threatening to fall off due to the speed of the cyan pegasus.
Pinkie Pie POV
Pinkie woke up, her whole body ached, how did she know?, she thought, I wasn't missing for that long...and the middle of the Everfree Forest isn't a place I'd ever go on my own.
The nurse walked in, taking Pinkie out of her thoughts. "How do you feel?" She asked cautiously.
"Better than earlier but my leg feel funny" Pinkie replied.
"We had to numb it to take that blade out"
"There was a blade in it?" Pinkie asked, completely shocked by this news.
The nurse sighed, "yes...Who could do such a thing to another pony?" The nurse muttered.
Pinkie sat up, confused, I must've passed out, she thought. The nurse headed towards the door,"Could you open the curtains please?" Pinkie asked, "If you don't mind."
The sun was being raised and Pinkie loved the sight of it, even if it was through a window of a dull hospital room.
"Sure thing" said the nurse, she opened the curtains and then exited Pinkie's room, closing the door behind her.
Pinkie sighed and laid back down,falling into an uneasy sleep.

The door opened, Pinkie woke from her sleep. The sight of her favorite pegasus entering the room made Pinkie smile. "Hey Dashie." She said, attempting to get up and hug her.
"Don't get up Pinks, your leg is still numb, you could fall." Rainbow said,walking over to hug Pinkie close to her. Pinkie wished the moment could last forever, just her and Rainbow, holding eachother close.
Soon the door opened once again, the 4 others entering the room in a rush. Rarity didn't even brush her mane. Twilight looked exhausted, Fluttershy shivering with worry, and Applejack, well, she looked off. Pinkie thought for a moment before exclaiming, "Where's your hat Applejack? Did you lose it? Orrrrr did somepony steal it? That would be rude, why would somepony steal a h-"
"Pinkie meh hat is in the barn, I was just gettin' ready for a day of harvesting when I heard you were here." Applejack interrupted.
"What happened?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yes darling, what happened to you We all got her as fast as we could" ,Rarity commented
"Well," Pinkie frowned, "There was this one pony I didn't throw a birthday party for in school, andddd, the short story is, he wanted revenge."
The four of them shared shocked looks, "Dashie saved me though," Pinkie said, "so it's all okay and we can be happy"
Rainbow Dash POV
"No it's not Pinks,he's still out there and you're still hurt. Twilight" Rainbow asked, "Is Celestia coming? He could escape if somepony isn't sent out there soon." Rainbow anxiously began pacing the room.
"She should be here any minute " Twilight said.
Princess Celestia and two guards trotted in, the room now crowded with ponies. "Rainbow Dash, could I speak with you?" Celestia asked.
Rainbow Dash nodded and left the room with the Princess. Celestia took her to an empty hospital room and shut the door. "What happened? Where did you find her? Can you describe the pony who did this?" She asked.
Rainbow Dash told Celestia the whole story,as best as she could. The urge to cry was replaced with anger, "and then I tied him up. I flew Pinkie to the hospital and got Twilight right away." She finished.
"Guards! Celestia spoke in a serious tone,"Seize him!" The guards nodded and quickly left.
Rainbow Dash and Celestia walked back to Pinkie's room. As Celestia examined the wounds and spoke with the nurse Rainbow Dash sat at Pinkie's bedside, gently soothing her.
Rainbow thought about the day before, how Twilight and the others didn't think they needed to look for her, how Pinkie had been being tortured the whole time, I should've saved her sooner, I should've stopped it before it started. She thought.
"No Dashie it's not your fault, you saved me! You should be proud!" Pinkie spoke in a cheerful tone.
"Huh?" Rainbow asked, "You can hear what I think?"
"Of course, it's my Pinkie sense" Pinkie replied.
Rainbow decided to test it, "uh guys, could you give Pinkie and I a moment? Alone?"
The others nodded and exited the room.Celestia having already left to speak with the nurse, they were now alone.
I love you more than just a friend Pinkie, Rainbow mentally spoke to Pinkie Pie.
