There was a day where Alicia had to think about changing her life around. She was out with
people that she should not have been. It was supposed to be just a simple birthday celebration
but little did she know what she was walking into. When Alicia pulled up at the house there
where outside down the street fighting and it did not look good at all. The person she came to
see was fighting as well until it all went south. He hit the ground and got hit with a medal rode
twice. The only thing that she knew to do was to stand over him and make sure he didn't get hit
anymore but little did she know is that she was going to be hit as well. About a week later she
ended up in the hospital just to find out that her right rib cage was fractured also that she was
pregnant. She told the nurse that she must be playing like she must be lien to her or
something but not the nurse showed her the test and all she wanted to do at the time was cry.
So instead of crying she called her sister in law and told her and her sister in law had the same
reaction. Lanay could not believe it to the point she wanted to talk to the nurse and asked the
nurse was she serious was she really pregnant. She was so happy but at the same time scared
for here sister in law because she knew how there mom was. Plus she was only 18 at the time
but the only good thing was that she was not living with her mother anymore. She couldn't
even face her mother after she found out the news then she had to call Jamie and tell him he
had a baby on the way. He was like are you serious!! Send me a picture of the test and he was
happy and scared at the same time. This is the crazy thing about it all the baby was planned but
they didn't think that it would really happen. It was Jamie's brother girl birthday so we all figure
that we would go out to the club and have fun. They drank a lot that night and Alicia out drunk
all of them this was before she found out she was pregnant. So her and Jamie got a hotel room
and had sex all night long until the morning came. She kept telling him that she wanted a baby
and he was like are you serious. She told him, "Yes I really do want a baby". Well they started
having sex again and he was telling her that OK ,"I'm going to give you a baby". She said nope
you playing but i want one for real thought. She relived this moment over and over again while
she was laying in the hospital bed. She was like i got what I wanted but I didn't want it this soon.
I can't believe this is happening I am about to be a mom. Wait what about me going back into
the military. What am I going to do because I can't just give up on my Dreams. I've had this plan
since i was in the six grade I hope I didn't just mess my whole life up because i wanted a baby. I
know that this baby will be a great blessing to me but maybe I should have waited to get a new
part of my life. I had to keep working and doing what was best not only for me but for this little
boy or girl i am about to have in my life. I knew that everything was about to change in the next
nine months. I wouldn't be able to put myself first anymore it is all about this child while he or
she is not her and especially when they get here. I had finally realized that this is going to be not
only a new chapter in my life but a New Start.
