The Saddened Rowan Tree.

It was early in the morning, Rowan had decided she wouldn't stay up at night anymore. Seeing as she got tired pretty quickly before, frequently falling asleep with her head on the library table after studying for hours. Today was no different, her sleeping peacefully only to have Sebastian walk in interrupting her wonderful rum-cake dreams.

"Miss Rowan it's time to wake up." She simply turned over and shifted a bit. "Miss Rowan..?" He sighed, of course she was a heavy sleeper. He did the one thing he knew would wake her up, squeezing her breast. She gasped and pointed one of her guns at him sitting up. She finally regained her wits and put it away sighing. "Damn near shot you.. Don't do that again." She shook her head and proceeded to climb out of bed, until she fell ungracefully into the floor grumbling. She got up an started pulling him towards her doors and shoved him out.

"Welcome boy! On an errand for your father?" They all dead panned. Sebastian walked up the counter. "Excuse me, we came to get Master's cane." The shop owner was still cheery. "Ah, so you're the owner of this cane. Exactly what sort of person do you intend to have this cane? Certainty not that boy.." Sebastian pointed the cane at the mans face. "It doesn't bent. It's well built." He dropped a bag of coins on the counter. "This should cover it."

"That ridiculous strength of Finny's is a menace. How could someone accidentally break a walking stick? It's a pain to special-order a new one." Rowan looked at Ciel. "I was 13 and I was taller than you are. You're short." She started snickering as Ciel started glaring. "Stop giving me a death glare and let's go home before Grell destroys the manor." She looked over to the store next to them. "Look Mama it's the new rabbit-toy from Funtom!" She looked away and climbed into the carriage, preferring not to think about it. Sebastian seemed to notice her looking at the child and figured he would ask her about it later.

"I'm sure you're tired, master. I'll prepare tea for you immediately.. What's wrong?" Rowan was in awe. "It's so cute.." Ciel was horrified. She peeked into the foot and gasped. Walking in she looked around. "It's so adorable!" Lizzy turned around and squealed. "Oh you're simply adorable! Who are you?!" Rowan blushed at the complement while the men were staring like she was crazy. "I'm Rowan! I simply love what you've done to the place! Who might you be?" Lizzy seemed shocked that someone finally appreciated her efforts. "I'm Lizzy, Ciel's fiancé." Rowan turned to Ciel. "You never told me you had such an adorable fiancé!" Sebastian was snickering in the background. Rowan whispered in Lizzy's ear. The only thing he managed to catch were the words "Sebastian, Ciel, and Cute" He froze. Rowan was snickering and Lizzy looked like she had seen the cutest thing ever. "Might I ask what's so funny Rowan?" Ciel asked slightly scared. They both walked up to him, Lizzy with a cheerful smile and Rowan with a Cheshire grin, and grabbed one of his hands dragging him off while they were chattering away about how cute they were going to make him. Rowan stopped thinking. "Lizzy?" She looked at Rowan. "What about Sebastian? We simply just can't make Ciel look adorable alone."

Sebastian was ready to run. They let go of Ciel and started whispering to each other. Ciel looked like he might have a heart attack. "Just what we need, someone who can encourage Lizzy." Both men shook their heads. "YES! Oh yes! I'll go get it Lizzy! They'll be simply to die for they'll be so adorable!" She ran off to her room. Returning minutes later with something behind her back. The other servants walked in and stared at them in awe as Rowan bravely walked up to Sebastian and put a pink bonnet on his head. Rowan had a Cheshire grin on her face as everyone was snickering while Lizzy stared in pure adoration.

Hm. So he can even managed to pull off pink. I have to say for someone like him it takes a lot to make pink look good.. but he just does it.. Rowan stared at Sebastian for a moment, allowing him to catch something strange in her eyes, before taking her attention back to the matter at hand only to see Lizzy had already dragged Ciel off. They both dead panned. "Oh.. Oh well!" She ran off to the library hoping Sebastian didn't catch any of her sad thoughts.
