Rowan had been in brighter spirits lately, she had said that she had been going out exploring London. She knew London from the bottom to the top though. He had seen her go out late at night disguised as a commoner with a guitar case. After he put his master to bed, he followed Rowan out of the manor. She had been questioned and managed to swiftly thread her way through with vague answers. She was disguised as a human. Purple hair had turned into brown and her tail and ears had been hidden. Though her hair looked a bit like she had cat ears. She walked into some place called Barney's Pub. It wasn't fancy, it was filled with commoners and the drunken East Ender who could afford a drink or two. She walked backstage and he noted that everyone else back there was male, but they weren't staring at her. Her heels clicking got there attention and they immediately jumped on her, hugging her. "Hey, hey! I need my arms if I'm going to play!" They refused to let go and started shaking their head. "You idiots are lucky you could easily beat me in a fight or I would've punched all of you off by now." The oldest of them commanded the others to get off of her and messed up her hair. She started pouting until one of them put their hand on her back and slid it down.. a little to far for his liking. "Hey!" She smacked his hands off blushing, the others started laughing. "We have to get the show ready you idiots! He'll have our heads if we don't start on time." They all shivered. "Barney is a scary bloke.." Rowan nodded. "He wouldn't be so scary if you wouldn't make advances on his daughter Ace." Ace laughed and they dragged the instruments out onto stage. She sighed. Someone barged in, seeing as it was about an hour before opening time it was probably Barney. They all continued doing on what they were doing so Barney wouldn't get mad. He nodded in approval as they all adjusted their instruments. A young boy came out from backstage with a clipboard. "Mr. Roberson said one of the strings broke on the piano when he was trying to tune it. He said it might take a while." Rowan stared at him in horror. "When did he say it will be done?" The supposed boy checked his clipboard again. "Abou' 20 minutes. He 'as 'is men working extra fast to get the materials. So at most 20 minutes." Rowan sighed in relief. They'd still be able to play. "Good job, Venus. Go make sure the outfits are in order. After than you can come back and relax until the show. Then you need to go get dressed." Venus nodded and ran off. Sebastian was intrigued.
~Timeskip~
It was time for the show, everyone was dressed in black, simple attire. It was black-out night. Rowan got her guitar at the ready while everyone situated themselves. She was looking foreword to seeing their reaction at their new song. The trumpet started and the song began.
"Hey!
Hey!
Hey!
I don't like walking around this old and empty house.
So hold my hand, I'll walk with you, my dear.
The stairs creak as I sleep, it's keeping me awake.
It's the house telling you to close your eyes.
Some days I can't even trust myself.
It's killing me to see you this way."
Sebastian was a bit jealous as he saw the obvious smile that she was showing.
"'Cause though the truth may vary,
This ship will carry our bodies safe to shore.
Hey! Hey! Hey!
There's an old voice in my head that's holding me back.
Well, tell her that I miss our little talks.
Soon it will all be over and buried with our past.
