(I'm somewhat engrossed by this whole sick thing, I've been sick not too recently, about 2 weeks ago and I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick again. So annoying, I got sick from going to school in the first place because damn high school and everyone getting sick as the change of the seasons occurs. Seeing as I'm stuck in a classroom with possibly sick people for an hour and a half before switching classes isn't fun. Especially when they're all idiots and you have a headache. Almost all older than me(so I assume) and being upperclassmen seeing as I'm a freshmen. (Yay first month and I'm already missing my childhood.)
Sebastian had told his master about the events last night, sparing him the trouble of making Rowan get up. He had brought her blanket out to the carriage already so all that would be needed is to get Rowan herself. He quickly walked up the stairs to Rowan's room, seeing she was asleep, but it looked like she had gotten cold as she had a pair of pajama pants and a sweater on. They had asked Miss Nina to make her a pair of pants a seeing as any males were either too big or too small, or just awkward looking. Rowan didn't like how they looked either. She had designed a pair herself and Miss Nina said she'd love to make them because it was so fashionable. It was the end of the Season so it was understandable that she got cold. August, it was a somewhat chilly month, cooling down from the hot summer. He swiftly picked her up and watched with amusement as she pressed herself against him for warmth, no hesitation in the slightest in her movements. He'd seen Baldroy try to do the same once, it was highly amusing to see her not do anything except snuggle closer, nowhere near this. He could tell that Rowan would probably wake up by the time he got her to the carriage. On that thought, he was headed down the stairs when she opened her eyes, silently trying to take in her surroundings, a bit panicked but not showing it. Realization suddenly sparking, she wasn't on the ground and in someone's arms. Quickly eliminating anyone who tried to kidnap her, no one would be dumb enough to try and kidnap someone who could obviously be dubbed a light sleeper by her movement in her sleep. She didn't move much, just when her clothes wrapped around her so she would shift to untangle herself. Unless Sebastian was with her just shaking her a tad bit could wake her up. She had turned into a light sleeper rather quickly, not always being a light sleeper used to make her vulnerable. Ciel couldn't be carrying her, fairly obvious there. She didn't know if Madame Red was still here, but she was too high for it to be Madame Red. She closed her eyes and settled back into the chest of the person carrying her. Sebastian. It could only be him who was carrying her. Movements quiet, swift, but careful making sure not to disturb her too much. She didn't realize how long it had taken her to come to the conclusion it was Sebastian until she was laid down in the carriage, her head on her blanket that was neatly folded to make a pillow. Avoiding suspicion, clever. Sebastian could see the gears in her head silently working even without it being obvious. He moved to sit down and watched as she curled up into a ball, moving her feet so he could sit. She fell asleep rather quickly after the carriage started moving. Ciel was quick to analyze she was observant even when half asleep. What he didn't know is that she only moved because she could tell it was Sebastian by how warm he was. She would love to jump on him then and there and get a few good snuggles in but she would restrain her natural cuddle-bug nature. Sebastian had brought out things in her she didn't know were there, mainly being her love for a good cuddle session, but that's not what really matters. She had become more observant, sneakier too. Her eyes had become more adapted in the dark, able to see it like it was morning. She had trained her eyes to see the manor at night as if it were dawn, not quite after dawn, but not during dawn.
She was suddenly shaken awake, no one had touched her. It had been the carriage stopping. She sighed and closed her eyes once more, hoping not to be woken up again. Clearly her wishes wouldn't be granted any time soon seeing as she was picked up somewhat roughly. It was probably Bard, she would save her cuddles for Sebastian. He huffed in annoyance that she didn't end up cuddling into him like she did Sebastian. He pretending to drop her and jumped out of his skin when she yelped in surprise, making him drop her. She got up and grumbled, dusting off and grabbing her blanket, storming inside quite annoyed she was disturbed. Bard hadn't noticed until now that her hair was curly and long. Sebastian seemed to notice her walking up the stairs and placed his hand on her shoulder, making her jump in surprise. She saw the annoyed expression on his face. "I scared Bard into dropping me, he seemed upset that I didn't snuggle into him. He thought would be funny to pretend to drop me, I ended up scaring him when I actually did something." She chuckled at the thought of Bard being scared. "Scaredy cat." He chuckled and picked her up, Rowan glared at him. "I can walk you know." He didn't make a move to put her down. "You can, but you shouldn't be awake. You're obviously tired, after last night, you need sleep." She rested her head on his chest in defeat, arguing wouldn't get her anywhere. "Not my fault those things are a bitch." She rubbed her back where they had been removed. "The stinging after is a bitch as well." He'd check it out later, once she was asleep. He set her down and stood by the door, making escape impossible. Rowan stretched, cracking a few bones in the process. Obvious delaying, he was quick to observe that. He moved her legs onto the bed and pushed her down, making sure to keep his hands on her so he could make her sleep. She was clearly awake after being dropped by Bard, so if she wouldn't sleep on her own he'd have to make her. She was obviously confused but suddenly too tired to think. She allowed herself to succumb to sleep fairly quickly. The Young Master was working in his office, they had agreed that Sebastian would watch over her since the others would end up waking her up. He laid down next to her, allowing her to snuggle up to him. He had noticed her being more open about her cuddly nature, it was only with him but he liked it that way. He touched her back, retracting his hand as she hissed. She was still asleep so he moved to lift the back of her shirt up, what he saw surprised him. She would end up with scars from the thorns. They were shallow cuts, but were deep enough to scar. He went to go get the alcohol and a rag. Better safe than sorry. He shook her awake gently and she looked at him confused. "I figured I'd allow you to already be awake when I start cleaning the cuts on your back." She nodded and laid her head back down, preparing for the hissing and stinging of the alcohol. He poured it on the rag and put it to her back. She gripped the bed sheets to keep from whimpering at the pain. He put it over the mark on her back and that was when it really hurt. He noticed how much more it seemed to hurt over the rose on her back. She relaxed as the stinging stopped, snuggling back into the pillows to sleep, hopefully being left alone. She fell asleep quickly and Sebastian chuckled as he noticed her chewing on her sleeve like a child. It was nice to be alone with her, even better that it was on masters orders. One would think it would dampen the mood just a bit, but it didn't. She was sleeping peacefully, blissfully unaware of the world around her, with a faint smile on her face as she continued the relentless chewing of her sleeve. He was wondering what she was dreaming about this time, but whatever it was must've been pleasant seeing as she was smiling. She was obviously pleased what was happening in her fantasies as her smile turned into a mischievous smirk. Sebastian laid down next to her and watched as her face relaxed, the smirk turning into a warm smile at knowing who the knew warmth belonged to. He smiled as well, wrapping his arms around the smaller figure in sheer protectiveness, she was so peaceful in sleep, with him with her the nightmares seemed to ebb away. She opened her eyes and snuggled further into Sebastian's embrace. "You seem relaxed." She nodded and looked up to him, nuzzling into his neck as she climbed on top of him. Sebastian chuckled when she climbed on top of him, he had brought the cuddle-bug out and she was keen on letting it control her. She shifted to a more comfortable position on him, slightly out of breath. The first time he noticed she never slept on her stomach he had asked and now realized how obvious it was, it would probably put him out of breath too to have something being pushed up against your chest like that. Even though he secretly admitted he liked the feeling of her chest on his he could understand wanting to be able to breath properly.
He heard his master calling his name and got up, fixing his clothes. Rowan sighed, annoyed that the brat had to ruin her cuddle time now. Chances like this were rare when she could just simply climb on top like a child and snuggle into him. He chuckled amused that she was annoyed. He quickly left after sending her back to sleep so she wouldn't do anything without him there. "Yes, my lord?" He was briefly explained that they would be going to Houndsworth to secure a resort, then he was explained to that about 1/3 of the population went missing over the past years. They would go check it out as soon as Rowan's health allowed. He went back to her room to see her gripping the sheets tightly, face contorted into fear. He gently shook her awake and she nearly recoiled at the touch until she saw it was only Sebastian. She looked up at him, tired and slightly irritated. Said demon only kissed her cheek and got into bed next to her, if she wanted to talk about it she would, he wouldn't pry into things she didn't want to share. She gladly accepted him next to her and moved closer to allow him to move his arm around her. It wasn't the things she'd seen, it was what they had said. It was her older sister screaming that she was a bastard child and shouldn't be even in this world, that she needed to be cleansed. "Snuff out the unnecessary, the unclean, the unwanted; that's what my sister said. She was a lunatic but even in my own mind she would never go that far to make me feel horrible.." She shivered slightly from the sudden horrible feeling running down her spine, it actually kind of hurt. "Either she was sent to heaven, or sent to hell bent on being in Heaven so she kills anything she deems impure." She relaxed a bit, that makes more sense, it didn't help that everything inside of her felt like it was ready to jump out of her though. He was growing worried, she was clearly uncomfortable and something was causing her demonic powers to awaken and her true form want out. She was shaking slightly, trying to contain whatever wanted out. He rubbed her back and tried his best to calm everything inside, having him do that just made it want out more. She had fallen asleep, but it was hellbent on getting out without hurting it's owner. Her demonic aura was rising, quickly, just before it went overboard.. it stopped. He felt something tickling his hand and her smirked when he saw it. She had finally gotten her wings. He nearly pricked himself on the points on the bottom. Pointy too. He chuckled as he looked at them closely. They were fairly small, but that would change as she grew more powerful and older. Her wings suddenly snapped shut when he touched the top. She snuggled closer to him with a smile. He smiled too, she was such an odd creature.
