                  I woke up the next morning with the worst headache imaginable. I also could not fall back to sleep even though I woke up at 4:20 in the morning. We went pretty hard last night I guess cause I found some of my missing clothing by the couch at my beds end. (I'll let reader Chan imagine what happened last night and how far it went) Nariyuki called me a couple hours later. With the way our income has been the last year he said we can sell the old apartment and buy a better place. Closer to Medical Mechanica. He said we can check that out later. I told him I was really sick and I would not be able to make it. He wished me healing prayers and hung up. Now it's 10:09 in the morning. I'm just in my underwear from last night, My whole body hurts so I just closed the downstairs curtains and plopped myself down on the couch and watched anime. Right now i'm 3 arcs into Dragon Ball Z. Dubbed mind you I can't read subs fast enough. I guess I feel asleep though because I later woke up to my phone ringing it's familiar tune. I walked over to the wall and picked it up, almost falling over in the process.

"heLlO?" I say in a deeply groggy voice.

"(y/n) Oh, are you alright you sound tired" Aversa calls through the landline "well no mind to that. Do you want to go walking later. I'm sure you noticed how beautiful a day it is so I thought that would be good for us."

Funny enough I had NOT noticed the weather because I closed the blinds :D

So I opened them and JEEZUS she was right. I'm blinded by the oozing light.

" Yeah we can walk in the afternoon once I feel better."

"Okay, ttly (y/n)"

"Bye Aversa"

Welp guess I gotta go be productive now. So I get dress in (Insert whatever clothing here) put on my black boots and once downstairs I eat some of the leftover food we brought home from last night. I don't remember ordering food? But we were drunk until we got home so idk. Gotta admit it's pretty good beef though. I put in my cd for Appetite for Destruction to wake me up. Hearing Slash open up Welcome To the Jungle with his signature guitar line was the best, even though it kinda startled me when it delayed and then started a second late. But right when it hit the good part where Axl Rose starts my phone blasted again like it did earlier. Irritably I picked it up.

"Hello" I said disingenuously

" So me and Zenji are heading over to check out the new place, It's a nice house gotta adm-"

I cut him off "Yooooo, you got a house too? That's better then I expected."

In the background of Nari talking about the the purchase Zenji was kinda just partying from the sound of it. He must be really happy about living in a house again. They have lived in that small apartment for a couple of years now, of course with financial support from their grandmother, Nana. I met her once and she is a real nice lady once you get to know her. It's such a shame Their parents just left their own children astray.

Adults can be childish too I guess.

But it is worse for them

Because with childishness comes incompetence.

He went on talking for awhile more, about how they plan to move in before the start of Zenji's high school career. He wants to go into culinary arts. I believe Japan has a good supply of jobs for that. Not sure though.

"I can't wait to tell Grandma Nana, she is gonna be so proud of us Zenjiro!" Nari yells into the phone. Ouch my ears.

"I could not agree more!"

I heard the boys laughing and heaving, Sayonara, they both say in their Japanese accents. Then hang up and go back to laying down on my couch. Me and Aversa will go walking in 10 minutes. "I should probably pack my bag" I say to myself. I go upstairs and grab sunglasses, a water bottle, my wallet, and feed Hamtaro in the process. Once done that I hear my doorbell ring it's familiar chimes.I slide down my stair railing hop on and open the door to my smiling friend.

"Sup (y/n),"

"Hey Aversa, How ya been." And from their we start walking towards the center of Mabase. Medical Mechanica.

"I've been good, just the usual. Gaming and being a nerd or geek whatever. Playing Super Mario 64 or Star Fox 64 The usual. Oh! A few days ago I bought Pokemon Stadium Brand new with. . . Haruko. ."

Aversa was just stuffing her face with candy. It helped her focus with her unknown mental condition.

"Haruko is that girl with the pink hair right?"

I nodded and we walked past the old apartment where Nariyuki and Zenjiro lived. Some small family was carrying their stuff in. From the looks of it a Father, Grandfather, and their son? Strange family state but I'm not judging. The kid looked 8 or 9. Really short too, cute.

"Welcome to Mabase" I hear Aversa greet them. They all wave back to her except the kid. He was going into the place. Oh the memories.

"So (y/n), you have a thing for Haruko. Am I correct."

"Woah, would not put it that way but-" Then the thoughts of the weeks before, and last night appeared in the front of my mind, re emerging from the dark and dusty rooms they hide in.

"I don't know."

Aversa leaves the conversation at that. She seemed a bit confused, but just went back to eating her breakfast, lunch, food, yes. Idk what that thing is but apparently it's food.

*imaging some Japanese delicacy*

Once Aversa Is done feeding herself, I open my cigarette box and lite one. She notices and lifts one out of the box for herself. I chuckle to myself as I light hers up and she lets out a puff.

"We can't smoke on campus so I gotta get what I can out here. It's been awhile since I had a good smoke too so gimme 3 more for later." Aversa Retorts.

"You are not wrong there. Once college starts up again we can't even have the scent of smoke on us or else the teach will catch on."

We come up to a coffee house near the bridge, Aversa says she needs to grab something or else she's gonna die of thirst. The line is long, but she should get out within 10 minutes. So I sit at one of the table outside. Within a minute of sitting the rain starts to fall. To bad for our sunny da-

"Ya miss me?"

That voice is unmistakable. "Humph, I knew you would come back for me Haruko I'm you're human!" I say a bit flirtatiously.

"I guess you could say that, so how has (y/n) been doing?" She questions.

*small laugh* "I can guarantee she/I am fine."

Haruko gets up and makes a stand similar to a soldier. She saluts, I laugh a bit then she decides to speak again.

"You are probably wondering where I am this fine morning" I nod so she continues. "I am on a super inportent space mission that is very close to cracking. So i'ma need you to promise. If you see me ever again. Don't follow me, I will be returning home very soon. I thank you for all the help (y/n) Senpai!"

"And what do you mean by tha-" She takes my face in her hands.

"I beg of you. Please don't follow me. I promise I loved the time we spent together, but it's dangerous where I am going."

Okay, is all I can stutter under my breath as she lets go. From there her smile returns as she hops on her Vespa and speed away. Immediately after Haruko leaf Aversa walks back out and hands me a soda.

"I didn't ask for this?"

"Oh, well it was in your eyes" She smiles. Then proceeds to chung coffee, what are my friends. . .?

I opened *inset favorite soda* I started drinking it, only to notice that there was a, no several birds floating? I don't mean flying, I mean floaTing WOAH WOAH I spit out my drink.

"(y/n) LOOK!" Aversa cries. Behind me cars are slowly lifting off the ground. But most importantly, Medical Mechanica is steaming more then ever.
