"Woojin! Wait up!" You shouted at your best friend as he sprinted away from you, to the direction of the restaurant.
It was a warm Friday afternoon and you had promised Woojin you would go get some Korean fried chicken with him.
You finally got to the restaurant panting and breathing incredibly hard as Woojin laughed at your red face.
"Yah!" You said as you slapped his arm playfully.
"What did I do?" He asked teasing you. You rolled your eyes at his playful manner.
"Fine, how about we don't get chicken?" You said with a smirk as you turned on your heel. Woojin grabbed your wrist and you felt your heart beat, "No," you thought, "Not again, Y/N, he's your best friend, why are you falling for him?" You shook the thought out of your head once you realized you were being dragged to a table in the corner of the restaurant. You sat down at the table beside Woojin, grabbing a menu once you were both seated.
"What do you want to order?" Woojin asked me.
"Your decision really," I said shrugging.
"Okay then," Woojin said as he smiled at me. My heart raced again and I pinched my leg lightly from under the table.
I winced slightly because I didn't expect it to hurt so much.
"You okay?" Woojin asked me concerned.
"Oh, I'm perfectly fine," I smiled at him reassuringly. Woojin's heart started pounding crazily in his chest. He had always liked you, maybe even loved you, since the first day you guys had met in middle school. Ever since then, he's never had a dull moment in his life unless you weren't with him. He wished he could just confess and tell you how he really felt, but he was too scared that you might reject him. "You're such a chicken, Woojin," he thought silently scolding himself.
The chicken arrived in a short while. I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and not really paying attention to what Woojin was talking about.
"...you know it's so frustrating how...hey Y/N? Are you listening?" Woojin asked me when he realized I wasn't really listening.
I nodded without looking up.
"Y/N~," Woojin said holding up a piece of chicken in his chopsticks. "Ahhh~"I looked back down at my phone but opened my mouth slightly in his direction. Instead of the chicken in my mouth, I suddenly felt a pair of lips reach my own. I glanced up from my phone with wide eyes, Woojin was kissing me...my best friend and crush...was kissing me? I couldn't believe it. I was in total shock. Woojin finally pulled back and was grinning like crazy.
"You have no idea how long I wanted to do that..." He said blushing.
"And you have no idea how long I waited..." I replied grinning sheepishly.
