Hours went by, everyone was making their back home. Bull and Mortis picked up Mortis's room, they were also calmed down. Mortis put the rope back under his bed, Bull had put the chair back where it belongs, and the two started talking to each other. Mortis still seemed to be apathetic and dull during this time.
Once everyone got home, it was very late because they've decided to do one more brawl before coming back home. Bull quietly got out of Mortis's room, the reason being Mortis fell asleep.

"Did you find Mortis?" Poco worriedly asked.

"Yeah, he came home. He was crying, so I cheered him up and spent time with him." Bull said, it was mostly a lie except for one part, but it didn't sound like a one.

"Oh thank goodness Mortis is ok." Poco said, relieved.

Colt was also relieved that Mortis was ok.
Soon, everyone was sleeping, excpet Mortis, he had woken up not too long ago.

"Why didn't you kick the chair down sooner?!"

"So many people could've been happy! You're such an idiot."

"You should have just died."

"You aren't worth anything! You're worth nothing to everyone!"

The voices grew louder and louder. Mortis felt dull. He felt that all of his emotions hid from him.

"Try it again, maybe this time it'll work. Maybe everyone will be happy."

Mortis curled up into a ball, he didn't want to do anything anymore. He was ready to give up, to let go of everything, leave the world behind. He just wanted everyone to be happy, that was the price, but with each price, there is a cost. It would've cost his life for everyone to be happy. Mortis wished he could be happy again, but he knew it wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Mortis smiled slightly, tears started to fill his eyes.

"Maybe I'll just stay in my room, never come out again, not for anything til I feel like I'm good enough."

Mortis got out of bed, he went to the door, and locked it.
In the morning, everyone was up and eatting breakfeast. Colt went to Mortis's room and knocked on the door.

"I made breakfeast for you bud!" Colt happily said.

There wasn't a response. Colt knocked again.

"Mortis, I made you something to eat." Colt said.

Again, no response.

"Are you ok Mortis?"

Once again, there wasn't a response. Colt grew a bit worried. He knocked on the door again.

"Mortis, please say something."

No response. Colt went back to the kitchen, he put the plate on the counter for incase Mortis comes out of his room and eats it.
Everyone, except Poco, Colt, Bull, Nita, Piper, Leon, and Nita, have made the same plan again last night, and Shelly was going to stay home again.
Once everyone left, she went to her room, she grabbed the baseball bat and made her way to Mortis's room.
Mortis stared at the cuts on his arms. He wasn't willing to put up with anything anymore.
Shelly started to try to get in Mortis's room. Mortis looked over at the door, he rolled his sleeves down, he's wearing a dark pink hoodie.

"C'mon, unlock the door before I break the door down!" Shelly angrily yelled.

Mortis didn't do anything, he said nothing, he didn't move, nothing. Shelly started to break the door down. Mortis smiled slightly.

"Maybe Shelly will kill me.. Maybe then everyone will be happy!" Mortis thought.

Shelly broke the door down, she noticed Mortis didn't bother to move or do anything. She took advantage of that. She grabbed Mortis and started dragging him to her room to severely injure, or kill, Mortis. Mortis didn't struggle or anything. Once they were in Shelly's room, she started to swing her bat at Mortis, each hit with full force. Mortis started to cry and scream from how much pain he was in.
After what seemed like minutes, Mortis was coughing up lots of blood, parts of his body bled, his nose and mouth bled, and bruises were all over his body. Shelly had blood on her and her bat. Mortis was crying, but he looked both apathetic and dull. Shelly was making fun of Mortis and wounding him more. Mortis didn't seem to care at all.
It was starting to get late, Shelly stuffed Mortis in her closet to hide him, then she started to clean up all the blood. Mortis was slowly dying, he was covered in blood.

"If this is what I have to go through for everyone to be happy, I'm fine with it. I just want everyone to be happy." Mortis thought.

Tears ran down his face, he was smiling. He was finally happy that everyone was going to be happy.
Once everyone got home, there was a pretty strong odor.

"What's that smell?" Leon asked, covering his nose.

"I have no clue." Colt coughed.

Poco, Bull, Piper, Jessie, Nita, Colt, and Leon ran around and looked for Mortis, they were both paniced and worried.
Mortis was barely alive. Smiling, Mortis was finally get the one wish he wanted, which was for everyone to be happy.

"P-Poc-co.. C-Col-lt.. B-Bu-ull.. Kn-Know th-that I-I'll l-lov-ve y-you g-guys f-for-reve-er.." Mortis happily, but very weakly, said.

He knew that they couldn't hear him. Mortis smiled happily, he knew that he was going to die soon, he knew everyone was going to be happy.
After a while, Colt went to Shelly's room to see if Mortis was there. The smell was worse in Shelly's room.
Mortis, somehow, was alive, but he was on the verge of death. Colt dug through Shelly's room to find Mortis, he then looked in Shelly's closest, Mortis fell out. He was shocked, he cried instantly. Colt picked Mortis up and ran to Poco's room as fast as he could. He put him on Poco's bed. Colt got the things that they used in hospitals to help the patients stay alive. Colt put on all the things on Mortis that he needs to survive with. He then started to bandage Mortis where he bled. Colt was crying his eyes out. He hoped and wished Mortis would survive and not wind up dead.
