Judy's POV

I patiently waited for Nick to show up. I took my shower, put on this cute little royal purple dress I found and even applied some of Tessa's perfume. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't mind me using a few sprays of it. I rarely wore perfume, but maybe I'll try it to see how Nick likes it. I was so nervous. Nick and I have gone on many dates before, but for some reason this one felt different.

I almost had a heart attack when my doorbell rang.Hopping to the front door, I opened it to see Nick in a starched black suit with a green bowtie to top it off. He smiled down at me as I did the same.

"Hey, Nick." I giggled, letting him in.

"Hello, darling." He patted the top of my head and made his way inside my tiny apartment.

I closed the door and turned around to face him. He was staring at me all starry eyed with a small smile on his face.

"What?" I chuckled, feeling my cheeks heat up.
"You look... Amazing." He replied with a breathless breathless tone.

I looked down at my dress, hiding a smile. "In this old thing?" I gushed.

"Of course," he started walking towards me. "I'm just so used to you being in your uniform and to see you in a dress is probably going to be a once in a lifetime experience."

I giggled playfully, grabbing his suit jacket, causing him to lean in closer to me. "It's weird seeing you all cleaned up, too." I whispered.

Without warning he picked me up from under my arms and held me up in front of him. His emerald green eyes, staring deep into my lavender ones.

"Yeah. You'd be surprised, cottontail," He pulled me closer, placing his lips on mine. His kisses were so intoxicating. Our lips moved in sync as he snuck his tongue through my lip barrier. Our tongues danced with each other as I felt his embrace around me tighten.

I broke the kiss and licked my lips. "Can we go now. I'm getting hungry."

He rolled his eyes, setting me back down on the floor in front of him. He then held out his arm  as I locked arms with him. "Alright, Bossy Bunny. Let's go."

Nick and I started making our way to my front door until I heard yelling from next door. Those damn neighbors again...

"They're going on a date?!" I heard one yell.

"I don't know. Shut up before she finds out we're eavesdropping!"

"You shut up!

"No, you shut up!"

I couldn't stand those two. Ever since the first day I moved in next to these to knuckleheads I knew they were going to be a pain in the tail.

I shuddered when Nick yelled, "Why don't both of you shut up before I rip your throats out!"

"Sorry," they both yelled back then the screaming stopped.

"Let's go before they get loud again." I grumbled, pulling Nick out of my apartment and we got into the elevator.

Once we made it to the parking garage, Nick escorted me to this shiny red car. He opened up the passenger door and helped me in then he jogged around to his side of the car and got in. He shoved the key into the ignition and we were off. It's been awhile since we've drove in the regular car. We were pretty busy with cases before Tessa came along. Thanks to her being here at least we can take a break from all of that and just focus on training for this big mission of hers. The target practice was too easy. I bet tomorrow we would just be doing SPR or probably self defense.
