Chapter Two

Breathing deeply I attempted to calm the slight flutters in my stomach. "The last few days really have just flown by so quickly!" I commented to Brooke as we headed in the direction of the mall.

"I know! It's like someone has somehow sped up the last few days into a whirlwind." Brooke laughed. "Are you planning on purchasing anything other than the bikinis today?" She asked as we walked around a bend and the mall came into view.

Pausing for a second I contemplated giving her a silly answer or answering truthfully. "I haven't really thought about it too much actually, now that you ask though I think I might get a sundress and a couple of pairs of jandals to go with that."

"Cute! Maybe we could jazz it up a little with a cute hat and and bag?"

"Haha at this rate we're going to get more than I can afford. I do like the sound of all that though!" Walking through the carpark to the mall's entrance, I felt that little flutter or nervousness and excitement froth up in my tummy.

"Ooh, you should definitely get this one!" Brooke exclaimed as soon as she saw it.

"I know, it's like love at first sight. Quite literally!" I laughed continuing my way around the rest of the store.

She had barely more than a top or two in a single bag and I had practically half the mall altogether.

Handing over the money, I texted Anaya to see if she wanted to bring her convertible round and give as a lift back home. She quickly texted back.

Me - Hey, You free to pick us up from Lancaster Mall?

Anaya - Yeah, I'll pick you up now in my convertible.

Me - Okay, see you soon!

Looking around, I took note of what a nice day it is. You really learn to appreciate the weather when you're outside! The sky was completely blue like the ocean with no clouds in sight anywhere.

Within a few minutes Anaya drove up and took the park closest to the bench where we were sitting.

Waving frantically, we ran over to her convertible.

"Come on guys, get in!" She called out. I jumped in the back with Brooke.

"So what did you guys pick up?" Anaya asked as she carefully reversed out of the park she had pulled up into. "I got three bikinis, a sundress, a few pairs of jandals and plenty of accessories." I listed and then glanced over at Penny
