Just looking at her took his breath away. Y/n sat next to him, reading a book. Her face was glowing from the setting sun, making her look extremely gorgeous. How could something so precious be going out with him? He felt like he was full of flaws compared to other guys. He would then remember that there are really bad men and get over his insecurities.
"You know, love" Brian said "whenever i'm with you, my hopes for anything and everything go up." Y/n blushed. Brian's words always made her feel all tingly inside. Such a perfect man. She has only ever gotten compliments from her family.No one has ever said things like Brian though. Not even her ex boyfriends. Those guys were horrible when trying to express themselves, and at the end of their little rant, they would end up complimenting themselves. He gazed into her eyes and winked. Such a pretty cooler those cheeks are he would think.
"Lies! But if you want to go there, then you feed the love that my soul needs." She said back. Brian faked being shocked, but deep down, he knew that she meant every single one of those words. Moments like these reminded her of when they first started seeing each other. To avoid awkward conversations, they would say cheesy pickup lines to each other. Y/n especially liked the one that said "your ass is grass and i'm going to mow it.". Brian was extremely shy after that one. He never expected such bold words to come out of her mouth.

Y/n gave him a playful glare, Bri only smiled. Giving up on trying to read the rest of her chapter, she picked up her book and put it to the side. They stayed like that for a while, enjoying each other's warmth. The sun soon finished setting, the darkness settling in.
"Time with you really goes by fast. It's like running nonstop! And always breathless at the end" she grabbed Brian's hand. "It makes me very happy."
Brian squeezed her hand, trying not to blush. Do you see this? He thought. such a lovely girlfriend i have. At that, he leaned over and kissed her.
"What would be of me if i didn't have you?" He asked after the kiss.
"Hmm i'm not sure" Y/n teased. "Tell me, Bri. What would be of you if i wasn't yours?" She kissed him and pulled away before he could kiss back. Whenever Brian talked about her, she felt every single one of his words. Even if other people told her the same things, for example her family, Brian had a bigger impact on her.
