Give Me Back My Heart

Chapter 4 : Unknown

*15 minutes before*

I climbed up the rusty and wait-to-be-crush-by-any-human-being-any-minute-now ladder. When I reach the top of the administration building’s roof I saw Adam standing at the one of the corner looking at me. 

“Hey, you’re here!” awkward. Krik krik krik krik

“Hey, you too” he said and awkward again. Krik krik krik krik

“Mary I have something to tell you but before that can I ask you something?” he said nervously.

I nodded awkwardly before he said “did you have any crush or pending dating request right now?” 

“No. I don’t have any crush right now” except for you. “and I also didn’t hold or wait any dating request” cause I have been waiting for you. “you know everything about me” sorry I lied..

He let out relieved sign which was also made me happy. Very happy. Suddenly he kneeled in front of me and definitely surprised me when he said. 

“Mary, I know this is not the most romantic thing I have done for you and this is also not how I planned it to be because I thought I can wait and make some preparation for this but I was wrong. I was so desperate to be with you and I don’t think I can wait any longer just to say” he stopped. Why did he stopped? 

“I love you”

I blinked my eyes for the millionth times and I can feel my eyes started to water and was threatening to spill out. I don’t know how to respond or to move or even breathe. What is happening? My nerves were working so slow that I thought it broken. 

“So Mary. Will you be mine? Well, I know you always wanted to be someone first time and you can say no if you don’t want to” I cut his words when I put my forefingers on his lips and said

“Shut up moron. You are hurting my ears with your stupidity!” he shocked

“Of course I want to be yours! Why on Earth I want to say no?” I hugged him tightly and said “yes my boy, I’m yours.” And cried… again… why I won’t? I love him so much that I thought I hate him. Well that was a half-truth. But still, I love him and I hope he love me more. I hugged him more tightly. His fragrance was so strong and I love to be under his scent. He loosens up his hug and brushes his lips with mine slightly before fully kiss me and I can feel the electric flow between us. I tilt my head a little so that I can, I don’t know, kiss him more. Without any conscious I suddenly sucked in his lower lips and bite it. He pulled his head out of shocked. 

“You bite me” he said, half shout.

“I’m so sorry!! I didn’t mean to bite you. It just that I got a little bit carried over.  I’m so sorry okay?” I begged him. 

I never kiss anybody like that before and I don’t actually know how it works. Of course I have kissed my pass boyfriends but I never get this far in our kisses since I never really love any of them. I’m a bitch aren’t I? He laughed. He was laughing! Well he apparently not mad. I’m glad.

“It’s okay. I’m fine with it.” He said with a bright smile. I can almost see a pair of wings behind him until 

“but you have to pay for this” his evil grin came out. 

“I’m gonna bite you!!” he shouted while I screamed and struggling to stay away from him. He chased me and almost gets me but he was unfortunate enough to slip on the water a few centimeters away from me. I’m a lucky girl! I get down the ladder when suddenly catch my hand and said

“You are not getting away from me” he smiled evilly before I kissed his lips quickly and then jump to the ground.

“Bye!!” I shouted and left him behind. It was a very great evening.
