"Kacchan! Stop bullying him!" I said, defending the poor beat up greenie who was on the ground. "Ha! Defending that loser now, are you?" The ash blonde held up his hand, as loud explosions arose from the surface of his hand.
"(Y-y/n), please s-stop! He's going t-to hurt you!" Izuku warned behind me, but I still didn't move from my position. I couldn't, even if I wanted to.
I was scared.
Squeezing my eyes shut and bracing for the impact, I felt my skin grow hot, and burn as he continued to use his quirk on me. I didn't yell, I didn't scream, I didn't do anything. I just stood there, hoping that Izuku wasn't getting hurt.
"Trying to be a hero? Ha! Pathetic, you'll never become a hero!"
~
Burn marks and bruises were tattooed all over my body, and I was struggling to walk. Izuku, who's on the right of me helped me walk. "(Y/n)-chan, why did you help me? You got so much more hurt than me!" Izuku said worriedly.
"I-it's ok Izuku! We'll have to help all kinds of people, right? This is just practice!" I said in a very bubbly tone, looking at the bright side of things. Izuku showed a weak smile and kept helping me walk home.
~
Snapping out of my flashback, I laughed at myself. 'What a ridiculous flashback'
"Ryuuuuuuuuu~" I cried, slouching in the stool I was sitting in. "What is it?" He replied plainly. I pointed at the tv. "I wanna go there." Ryu looked over to the tv. It was the U.A sports festival.
"So you want me to-"
"... brainwash them into recommending me!" I happily jumped off the stool. Ryu nodded. "Alright. I'll do it when you get older though. You are still in junior high." I cheered, and flopped on the couch.
Yes, Ryu and I were living in a house. Ryu wasn't blood-related to me, but he was always the parent figure. Although trying to have a "normal" life, we have to hide our location most of the time.
"Now, go to bed. You still have school tomorrow."
~
Arriving at the school, I did everything I had to do. Boring learning, assignments, homework, all that school stuff. Until last period.
"I assume everyone here wants to be a hero, am I correct?" Everyone in the class cheered a big 'yes' while I just mumbled a small 'eh.' The teacher didn't seem to notice so it didn't really matter.
"In high school, you will be able to take hero courses!" The teacher exclaimed excitedly.
"I want to go to U.A!"
"Yeah, me too!"
"Alright everyone, please settle down. It's almost the end of the semester, so I am giving out a high school application sheet." The teacher got a stack of papers from his desk, and went around the room to give each student one sheet. Coincidently, the bell rang.
"Class dismissed!"
~
"Ryu! I got the high school application today!" I yelled, hugging him from behind, and shoving the piece of paper into his face. Ryu peeled the paper off his face, and read it. "Is it time?" He asked. I nodded frantically. "Alright. I'll be back, stay here."
And with that, he disappeared. I knew exactly what I was gonna do while he was gone.
I ran to my room, and slipped on my 'costume.' My costume was all black, not that much to it. I put on the mask, and was ready.
