David

Tonight is the night that I hate most every year, the night that stole me the the person I loved the most in the world, Anna, my daughter, who was only 4 years old when she died. She was the most important person in my life and living without her is hell. Every year on this day I usually go to a bar near my apartment and get drunk to try to forget this horrible night. When I get there, I'm surprised because the bar has more people than I have ever seen in it. In spite of that, I go to the counter where I see the owner of the bar, John, which I already know.

-I John. Why is the bar so crowded?

-You really don't know why?

-If I had known, believe me, I wouldn't waste my time asking this question and I'd just come here and request the usual drink.

-So we are giving a party to celebrate the end of the summer.

-But you never did that.

-I know, but you know how it is, now that my daughter is also inside the bar management, she had this idea and I took it.

-I understand. So now it's going to be like this every year?

-I don't know, but if the business goes well probably yes, but it won't always be on the same day.

-Okay. Well, I want the usual drink.

-I will prepare.

After a short time he arrives with my drink and I start drinking the first of many, tonight.

I look around me and I see that I'm surrounded by young people who are supposed to be in college, I see minors too and I see few people who may have an age close to mine. I think in my life and As soon as I have finished drinking the first drink of the night, I immediately request the second.

After that I decide to leave the counter and I look for a free table, which I think will be very difficult to find since the bar is full. When I went looking for a table, I just bumped into a girl and spilled my drink on her.
