Chapter 3 - getting to know each other

*knock, knock*
There was a knock at the door. As I got up to answer it, Brandon told me he would get it as it is in all likelihood it was one of the boys.
"Yo, did that girl go yet?" Zion shouted "she was fine!"
As I walked in the room with deep red cheeks. I saw Brandon shaking his head at the embarrassment waiting to happen while the rest of the boys just nod their heads.
I came in contact with Zion's eyes as it widen as he realized I heard him. All the boys came to realize Zion's blushed face and busted out laughing.
"Hey guys" I said as the boys come down
"Hey...umm" Edwin said realizing he doesn't know my name.
"My name is Alix, well Alexandria Acosta but you can call me Alix" I said still a bit red.
"Mhmm, well we came here to tell Brandon that we should just stay inside and relax" Nick said as he faces Brandon
"Okay then, why don't you guys come in so we could get to know Alix a little better" Brandon said trying not to make me feel left out.
"I don't think that's a good idea" I said quickly not wanting them to see me fangirl over them.
"You are right, it's a great idea!" Austin said as he pushed through us and plopped himself on the couch.
As the boys walked in, I give Brandon a "help me I'm freaking out" look. Brandon laughed as he dragged me to the couch.
We sat in silence til...
"So you like PRETTYMUCH!" Zion said with a stink ass smirk on his face.
I gave him a "you for real right now" look as the boys laughed at my reaction and I joined in.
"How old are you?" Nick asked with a smirk on his face
" I am 17 but I'm turning 18 on September the 5th" I said proudly
The boys faces dropped and stared at something. I followed they gaze which led me to Brandon. My heart sank as I watched him looking down at his feet. He was thinking about Charlotte. I know it. Her birthday was September 2nd, it was so close to mine I knew he was thinking about her, it reminded him of her. We were all now just watching him.
"So tell us why you are here?" Brandon said with a crack in his voice as he raised his head.
"Mhmm well my sister has a competition here and she didn't want our parents to come because she wanted to be by her self but my parents didn't allow that so they compromised and sent me to watch her even though she is just one year younger than me" I said strongly as I was proud of my sister
" wait...do you have cheerleading competitions here?" Nick said genuinely curious.
The boys eyes widen as they realized what he had said. I just watch him shocked that he actually said that. (Dude I love nick. I just wanted a lil drama in the book so yh)
"Mhmm no. She's a swimmer and she's swimming open waters" I said kind of angrily.
Nick head turns to me as he realized he offended me. He opened his mouth to say something but someone cuts them off
"Open waters?" Edwin, Brandon and Austin said at the same time.
" it means she swimming in the ocean" I said laughing a little bit.
They jaws dropped as I said something so shocking. I laughed...hard!
" she is going to swim 5000m in few days from now but she isn't in the pool team so she's only swimming that" I said tearing up at the boys reaction at what I said.
"Damn...she must be built!" Zion said
"Oh yh, she is bigger than me and Edwin" I said chuckling. The boys just busted out laughed except Edwin.
Some time had passed by and they were still talking about me. I felt awkward but I already knew everything about them oh well what was shown to me of them through the media.
"So are you single?" Nick said with a smirk on his face
"Yes, I am" I said kind of proudly
Time flew by and the boys went back to their rooms.
It was just me and Brandon now...oh god what am I going to do.
"so I'm going to bath first do you mind" he asked
"No of course not, I am just going to sleep in this" I said quickly
"Okay" he said as he made his way to the bedroom to take some clothes to go into the bathroom.
*13 minutes later*
"Are you hungry?" I asked as he walk to kitchen
"Umm...duh" he said laughing a little bit
I had bought some food supplies from the grocery store before I made it to the hotel so I just made us some food.
I was completely nervous around him and I think he could tell
"You know, you don't have to be so nervous around me I am just a human being just like you..well not as beautiful as you" he said yet he mumble the last part so I couldn't hear what he said
" oh it is nothing like that is just I love you guys so much and you know I- I- you're my favorite so you know I'm just kind of nervous cause you're my crush" I confessed
His eyes widened as he realized what I had said.
I quickly got up from my chair and walked quickly to the bedroom.
*10 minutes later*
I was on my phone when the door to bedroom opened.
"You know, the couch it's not big enough for me to sleep on so I guess I just have to sleep here with you" he said with a smirk on his face as he slowly sink into the bed right besides me
"Goodnight beautiful" he said as he closed his eyes.
I just stayed there still in shock as he called me beautiful did Brandon Arreaga just call me beautiful BRANDON ARREAGA just call me beautiful.
A few minutes later I drafted asleep with his words repeating in my head.
