Isaac looked in the bathroom mirror. He didn't know how to dress for this. He didn't even know if he could consider it a date. But for some reason just thinking about it made him extremely happy. There was something special about her. Isaac brushes his fingers through his hair just as Scott knocked on the bathroom door.
"Hey man, why have you been in there so long?" Scott asked just as Isaac opened the door. "I think I have a date.." Isaac replied in an unsure tone. "You THINK you have a date?" Scott asked. "What is that supposed to mean?" Isaac walked out of the bathroom shirtless and walked to his drawer of clothes. He had been living with the McCalls for a while and had yet to have a full dresser for himself. But he really didn't mind considering how little of clothes he had. "Well, I was flirting with a girl and she said to pick her up at 6:30 and wrote her address on my hand," he said showing Scott the faded writing on his hand. "So I guess it is a date," he said with a smile. "Oh, that's cool," Scott replied. "And I may not need to tell you this, but please refrain from telling her anything about your other life" Scott new Isaac wasn't dumb, but Scott didn't want to have any new lives to worry about.
"Yeah, of course." He said before sighing. "Can I borrow your bike?" Isaac asked with hope in his tone. That past summer Scott had taught him how to drive not only the bike but also a car. Now Isaac just needed to actually have his license. Scott was clearly on edge, but he wanted his friends to enjoy himself. "I mean, I guess," he replied with concern. Isaac smiled then put his shirt on, followed by his shoes. After the next several minutes went by, Isaac drove to Imogen's address using the GPS on his phone. Beacon Hills wasn't too big, so it was pretty simple finding it.Isaac pulled up in front of her house with two minutes to spare. It was clearly one of the nicer houses in Beacon Hills. He was excited to get to know Imogen. But he had an issue of getting close to people too quickly. He didn't want to cause any harm, but he was still a teenager and he wanted to experience dates. Isaac zoned out for a second, before hearing the front door of her house opening. He removed his helmet, then directed his attention to the female on the porch. "Why hello," Isaac said as he watched her walk down the steps. Something about her made him feel amazing inside and he couldn't figure out what it was. She was just different than most girls. (How cliche)
Imogen returned a smile and approached him on his bike. "Nice ride," she said, "I didn't pick you out to be a biker." Isaac laughed a bit. "There's a lot you don't know about me," he said in a joking voice. Imogen got onto the bike and put on the helmet Isaac had waiting for her. From there they drove off and Isaac showed her all around town. Where to eat, where to shop, etc. It was pretty much a movie moment for both of them. At the end of the night, they ended up on the hill overlooking Beacon Hills.
"Wow.," Imogen said. Isaac smiles and sat down on a bench they set up on the hill for the group to be able to hang out there. "Yeah... that's the effect it normally has on people," he said while looking at the town himself. "Oh so you bring other people up here?" she said in a jokingly jealous way. "No, no, no," he said believing her. "My friends and I like to come up here and hang out" he explained quickly. "Relax, I was just joking." she laughed a bit and pushed him lightly. "I wouldn't bring just anyone here," he said changing the tone of the conversation. She laughed slightly assuming he was making a cheesy joke but then looked at him and noticed he was looking at her and seemed very serious. "Relax dude, it's one day... lets at least make it to the second date before you start talking like that." She said. "Is that supposed to mean there's a second date?" he replied curiously. Imogen was hesitant to answer. She had gone through relationships that went too fast and failed miserably, but she didn't want to make that mistake again.
Her eyes met his and both of them remained silent. Before Imogen could think of something else to say, Isaac had pressed his lips against hers. Imogen found herself returning the kiss, but not even realizing it. After a minute or so she pulled away. "Definitely going to be a second date." She smiled at him before kissing him one last time. Imogen then turned her attention to her phone and realized the time. "Well, I have to be home soon... To be continued," she said confidently before standing up. From there the two went back to his bicycle and Isaac returned her home.
When Isaac got home Scott asked him multiple questions, but Isaac kept his answers short. He didn't want to make something out of what could be nothing. At least not yet.
The next two months went by and Isaac went on several dates with Imogen. Almost every week. They got really close and after those two months, Isaac eventually asked her to be his girlfriend. They kept it on the DL however because of Scott and the pack. He really liked Imogen, and he wanted no part of his second life ruining what they had. They were a happy couple and it remained that way, for the meantime.
