Beyond known jungles and seas,
beyond the mountains and urbz,
in the heart of the forest lies he.
The fierce thorns on his head,
the snow on his back,
but he?Tender, mild, sweet, and young,
his father devoured, his mother killed,
his desire to avenge is not.
And after all this tragedy,
his time is still to come.
His chance to survive is slight,
but possible, and that is all he cares. He wonders why two-legged creatures
shake their paws at the sky.
For happiness is still to come,
and after all,
this is part of His plan.
And in the end we will all die,
but the question is, where. His running feet are getting tired,
he feels his energy taken.
He salutes Death behind him
and has not despair. The wolves at his back,
the path he could take.
Death and life,
wrong and right,
he knows he might die in this run for life.
He knows, now, his time is come,
yet he flees.
