I walk hearing Bolin yelling my name from across the hall. I turn toward him; as he bends over placing his hands on his knees panting to catch his breath. I turn my head down turning to him "Uh are you okay Bo?" I ask looking at him with a concern look across my face. As he tries to catch his breath he looks up into my eyes "You totally just dissed Mako." I give him a confused glare "Uh yeah so what?" I question. He stands up forcefully, rubbing his neck nervously "Well usually all the new girls want to be with Mako." "Well sorry not me if that's what he wants. I'm not a slut Bolin." I say crossing my arms. That kinda hurt, every slut in this hell hole wants to be with Mako. He looks at me "No I'm not implying that at all it's just..you know?" I laugh a little at his question. "Yeah it's alright." We walk to the quad together laughing and telling jokes. We enter the line waiting to get this crappy thing THEY call "food". I turn to Bolin as he stares over my shoulder seeing mako and Asami walk this way. I roll my eyes and turn toward the head of line hoping he doesn't see me. They stand behind us, as I listen to Asami flirt with him. I feel his ember eyes on me. I force my self not to look back. We get our food looking for a place to sit when I notice Opal by herself. I nudge Bolin looking over toward her. He nod in unison; walking toward the emerald eyed girl. "Hey Opal!" Bolin says with a smile across his face. A blush grows on her face "Hey Bolin. Hi Korra." I place my plate down giving my free hand space to wave. I pull my phone out and begin looking at colleges. My mother didn't go to college but my dad did. Ever since I was a child I wanted to be like my father, strong, courageous and one powerful bender. But nobody knows who I am. I'm the the avatar after Aang. The problem is I can't quite airbend, it's not that easy you know? It's so spiritual and just ugh. Every day I practice but I can't make one baby puff of air. My dad says no one should know because they might try to hurt me, or end the cycle, but I can handle myself. I feel a tap on my shoulder, turning my body to Mako behind me. "Yeah?" I say harshly. I hurt look crosses his face. "What do you want?" I ask. He crosses his arms. "I came to talk to my brother. You know the kid next to you." I roll my eyes and sit across the table not wanting to sit next to that harsh kid. This day isn't going as planned.
