✎ "xiaojun..? xiaojun!!" chenle quickly gets up his seat and rans to the black haired boy who had his arms wide open for the screaming boy. they hug for what seemed like eternity, at least to jisung.
"so is that guy he likes" jaemin whispers to renjun. he shrugged as a response.
"i mean probably look at the way they're looking at each other. seems pretty obvious..." renjun replies and they continue to stare at them as they speak in their native language. jisung, on the other hand, was not having it. the way they looked at each other, hugged, talked. its pretty obvious they like each other. and for some reason he wasn't liking it.
jisung steps in and clears his throat loudly enough that can interrupt the two rapidly talking.
"so who is this chenle?"
"oh! im sorry! how rude of me. this is xiaojun, my friend back in china." xiaojun hid a bit behind chenles back since xiaojun knew nothing about the korean language. "and junnie, this is donghyuck, mark, jeno, jaemin, renjun, and jisung!" they all smiled at the shy boy and waved. he timidly waved back and nervously laughed. "aish dont be so timid junnie, you can talk to renjun hyung! hes from china too!"
"oh really?" xiaojun said, leaving his hiding spot and revealing himself.
"yup born in jilin! how about you?" renjun asked in chinese, of course.
"guangdong! its cool how you live in korea instead back at your hometown. must have been hard learning a new language, right?"
"yeah it took awhile, but by the help of these idiots i got to know more!"
"oh fuck you renjun!" donghyuck slashed at the boy for calling them idiots. renjun has thought them some chinese over the years and somehow donghyuck payed attention to his lessons. renjun gave a piercing stare at donghyuck but quickly smiled and looked at xiaojun who had a bewildered look on his face.
"he said you're welcome." renjun lied about the translation of what donghyuck had said and everyone snickered. "anyway im sure chenle would like to show you around. so chenle you can go with him. have fun!"
"okay thank you jun!" the dreamies minus chenle watched as the two chinese boys leave the cafeteria. they were happy that chenles friend came to visit the boy since chenle was having a little bit of hard time mastering korean. yes he has prior knowledge but only a little. so he should have a break from all the stress of relearning a language and be with his friend that he can speak with his native tongue. i mean he knows he has renjun but overall he missed talking xiaojun.
"why did you come all the way to korea all of the sudden?" chenle asked the taller boy as they toured outside.
"to see you of course. oh how i missed you lele. its been pretty boring back at home. its not as joyful as it should be. without you, its nothing. the guys also miss you and told me to say hey and that they wished you were back home." xiaojun explained and chenle nodded his head.
"ah! i miss them so much too. i actually made some new friends as you saw. they are really nice and accepting."
"yeah they seem very nice... also i have some news." xiaojun started. "im gonna stay in korea for a while and be with you!!"
chenle gasped and jumped onto the boy next to him, giving him a tight hug.
"ahh!!! really!! oh my god this is great! we can spend time together now!" xiaojun returned the hug and spun him around making chenle giggle. "wait!! stop spinning me!! im gonna puke!" chenle said and xiaojun put him down finally. they both laughed and then chenles face turned red after realizing how close their faces were. they were breathing heavily and hearts beating.
"um we should go somewhere else-" just as chenle was about to back away, a hand pulled him right back to his starting point.
"no, we're fine here." xiaojun slowly moved his head forward and chenle, who was flustered, froze. the boy took hold of chenles chin and moved it up to face him. chenle gasped once a soft pair of lips were gently placed onto his. xiaojuns lips moved against chenles while chenle was too shocked to kiss back. once xiaojun noticed this, he immediately stopped.
chenle did have a crush on xiaojun. he might have said it was small but he lied. it was big. he sometimes dreamt of their first kiss together, which was something that shouldn't be said out loud. back in china, chenle always thought it was a one sided love. xiaojun does sometimes flirt but chenle always thought he was just joking plus xiaojun would say no homo after. that always made his heart drop and put him in a sad mood. he wanted to forget about his crush since it seemed like a one sided love. but now since he left, thats all he could think about.
what just happened right, is his chance.
"oh, im sorry. i just thought you-" xiaojun was cut off after chenle had grabbed the older boys collar and smashed his lips onto his. xiaojun, with the same urgency, responded to the kiss. he placed his hands on both the smaller boys cheek and brought them closer as if there was any space left between them. chenle wrapped his arms around xiaojuns neck, never separating from the boys lips.
after a while, xiaojun was the first to break the moment. both breathless, they smiled.
"chenle, i.. ive liked you for a very long time. every since we met i developed feelings for you and only you. i only care about you and i would do anything to make you happy..." xiaojun confessed, feeling anxious of what chenle was gonna say next.
"junnie, i like you too. i always have. i just always thought it was a one sided love because you never showed signs of you liking me. and when you flirted you always said 'no homo' after, which broke my heart. but i still loved you... every since i left, i always thought about you. i-i wanna be with you, xiaojun."
"i-i wanna be with you too, lele. so what do you say..? zhong chenle, will you be my boyfriend?" xiaojuns heart warmed as he witnessed chenle form a huge smile on his face. chenle placed a quick peck on the tallers lips.
"yes, i will be your boyfriend."
