"(Yn)! I'm so, so sorry!" Yellow said as she hugged me, and held me close. I was ignoring how much I missed her, or maybe I was pushing it back. I knew I didn't want to feel it, the feeling of missing someone is horrible. I did the same to her, jasper smiled at me. I knew she had felt love before, for someone. Though whatever relationship she was in was abusive, and she was the abuser, she still felt that longing for the person before. Maybe she was changing after all.

I took the others to earth, both groups were extremely happy to have more off colors, to know they weren't alone. I could feel their pain, knowing that you weren't the only one fo your kind. I knew I the only gem to even manage to break multiple laws in front of the diamonds without any punishment, that wasn't a crystal gem or another diamond of course.

I came back and yellow looked happy to see me, she looked like she had been recently crying as well, which worried me. I didn't want to Ask questions...

"I'm so sorry I yelled like that (yn). I just didn't think everything through... like the fact that you were on earth for a long time before you came back, and that some of those gems may have still..."
"Lapis was very uncomfortable seeing a diamond symbol on me, so I just changed my form. I forgot to change it back before I came back to home world." I said, only then remembering I still had the same form.
"I like it on you, a dress suits you." She smiled at me. We were sitting by the window, looking at the stars together. "I don't ever want you to leave again... it was so quiet here, even with pearl." She said as she took my hand on hers. I rested my head on her shoulder and sighed.
"I won't leave again, not for that long. I would rather stay with you."

The next day I went back to earth, to hopefully FINALLY sort things out with my amethyst. Things felt off with her, I knew she was just worried, so I wanted to show her that the diamonds really were trying to make things better. I saw her sitting at the counter with the other amethyst and Steven. she Immediately looked at me, but looked sad and then looked down at the counter. I sighed and called to her.
"I want to show you something, on homeworld." I held out my hand and smiled. I was still standing on the warp, so I wasn't too far, but she did need to get up to come to me. She asked me what, and I told her I just needed her to come with me.
"I find it funny you came here unguarded." She said when we were at the main warppad. "So where are you taking me?"
"Home world."
"What?! No! I'm not going back there!"
"I'm going to bring you back don't worry. I just want to prove to you that I'm safe, and that things really have changed."
"The diamonds don't know you're bringing me do they?" She still looked sad looking at me, and I felt bad for not trying this sooner.
"No they don't."
"You really care about yellow diamond don't you?"
"Yes, of course I do."
"Has she ever hurt you?"
"On accident once, I tried to protect lapis but didn't have time to think about how that would effect her. She felt horrible."
"I did too, when I pushed you... I thought you would hate me."
"I can't hate you, unless you shatter someone I'm close to of course. But other than that... I couldn't hate you."
"Do you remember what I said to you the day before the war started?" I didn't know what she was talking about, it had been 5000 years of random occurrences and repression I didn't remember much.
"I don't think so." I sat down on the tallest warp pad, and she sat next to me.
"Together forever, no matter whatever. Just having you in my life, and knowing you're happy... I'll be satisfied with that." She smiled at me and helped me back to my feet.
"Now, Do you want to come to homeworld with me?"
"As long as I'm not shattered while I'm there."

I sat looking at the stars again, yellow had her head laying in my lap as I told her about specific conversations, planets and galaxies. It was stuff she already knew, but listened intently to me anyway. I bent down and kissed the tip of her nose, and she smiled at me, kissing my forehead.

Maybe this was where I was supposed to be.
