Taehyung watches Seokjin from the corner of his eye. He hasn't spoken to him at all since their earlier conversation in the bathroom. Well... lack there of, in Tae's opinion.

He can see Jin interacting with the other members while the older laughs and cracks stupid jokes. His eyes follow Seokjin's hand as it smacks against the back of RM's shoulder, seemingly teaseing the younger about breaking his microphone pack.

How is it so easy for Jin to appear unaffected by their disagreement? Tae poured his heart out to him and Jin doesn't seem to be bothered by anything at all. Taehyung can't understand how the older is able to just switch off his emotions and act as if nothing ever happened between them... Like everything is completely normal...

Tae talked it over with himself many times already. Maybe he did overreact just a little. But, he truly needed to hear how Jin really feels... About their relationship... About him.

At first, he tried to give Seokjin the benifit of the doubt because he knows how closed off the older can be reguarding his own feelings. The young singer understands that Jin becomes uncomfortable with public displays of affection. Especially those outside of what the world would view as typical brotherly love. Even though Jin comes off as a strong confident force of nature, Tae knows that his hyung's true personality is quite the opposite.

Seokjin puts on a mask for the outside world. One that demonstrates a person who is brimming with self love and confidence. Someone who isn't afraid of being overly affectionate with his members or making a fool out of himself to get them to laugh. But in reality, he is much more self conscious and reserved. He doubts himself and shys away from intimacy. To Jin, the thought of affectionate love is meant to be shared with him and his partner alone. Actions would be shown by intricate jestures, or captured by soft stares into each other's eyes, or secret touches that no one else would notice. Kind of like those you would see in a drama on TV.

However, Taehyung's personality is completely different. He doesn't hold back his wants and desires. Tae is an extrovert who isn't afraid to be open with his thoughts or feelings. He will jump at the chance to initiate any form of skinship at any given time, especially with the person that he loves.

Taehyung also the type of person who needs reassurance from his partner that his feelings are reciprocated. He needs to know that Seokjin sees him as more than just a beloved younger brother.

The thought is fleeting, but he begins to wonder if Seokjin truly cares for him as much as he originally thought.

Tae shakes his head to rid himself of such ridiculous ideas. He knows deep down that his hyung cares about him. He just wishes that he could make the older realise exactly how much.
