Walking down the street wasn't something that Alex Paige hadn't done a million times before and yet an uneasy feeling came over her as she walked down pine street. The fact that the street itself didn't have any streetlights was unnerving enough but to top it all off she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was following her. She constantly turned to look behind her but saw nothing aside from the darkened street behind her. She had clearly been reading too many misters novels. She reminded herself that those stories were fictional and continued walking but thoughts of a stalker or worse still lingered in the back of her mind. She breathed an internal sigh of relief as her apartment building came into view and walked up the steps to the lobby door feeling as though she had just walked through the valley of the shadow of death and survived. She dug around in her black fabric handbag. After feeling the hard metal substance, she pulled out a ring of keys and as she was about to open the door a cold sweaty hand covered her face.

"I need you to do something for me." Gomorrah whispered softly into a Jason's ear. He knew what came next. It was always the same request.
"It's the girl." She commanded. "And finish the job this time." She sent a warning glare to Jason to remind him of what would happen if he didn't obey her.<<<<>>>>
"Do as I say if you want to live." Her attacker's scratchy voice whispered into her ear. It sounded like sandpaper against wood.
She felt the hard metal tip of a gun hard against her back.
"Okay." She whispered agreeing submissively. She didn't even put up a fight as he pulled her by the hand into a place where he let go of her hand only to tie a damp cloth over her eyes. Alex prayed that the fabric's dampness was from water but she knew it wasn't likely. She cringed at the thought of the sweaty piece of cloth that now blocked her vision. The smell of it made her gag. He tied Alex's hands behind her back with a rough rope then threw her into a vehicle. Alex's mind was void of all thought, still processing the fact that she was being kidnapped. They drove for a while until they finally stopped.
The only thing that Alex could hear at that moment was here heartbeat. The pounding was merciless, like a trapped lion charging at his cage in hopes of freedom. She had no idea what came next. She had no clue why anyone would even try to hurt her. She remembered a game show she had seen where the contestants were kidnapped only to be dropped off at the TV station for the show.
The man grabbed her hand and dragged her for a distance before pushing her onto the ground. She braced herself preparing for the hard cement floor she expected but her landing wasn't hard like she assumed it would be. She in fact landed on a considerably soft but slightly itchy substance. It was hay. The strips of gold surrounded her. It seemed that she was in some sort of barn. The door slammed shut and her kidnapper was gone.<<<<>>>>
Jason walked into the large abandoned building where enough blood to repaint the old shack's rotting walls red was shed and sighed knowing the death count was about to go up by one. Another day another death, that was simply how he lived.
He opened the door and stepped in looking down. He had learnt form experience that it was easier to kill someone when you didn't look them in the eye. He pointed his gun at the space he figured was her stomach; a slow, painful death, that was how Gomorrah liked them. Against his better judgement he looked up and his eyes met with the woman on the pile of hay. Her hair exactly matched the color of the strands and was tied up in a tight bun. She was wearing a white blouse, gray cardigan, matching pants and black heels: the uniform of the working lady. Jason again heaved a deep sigh, knowing he would regret what he was about to do as he ripped off her blindfold.Alex's grey eyes stared into a pair of red ones and trembled in fear knowing from the man's gun that the man wasn't an ally.
"Don't do it." Alex advised hoping her voice didn't show all the fear that she was feeling.
"I don't want to." The man reassured her "But I have to." His grip on the gun tightened as he raised the weapon preparing to shoot. He looked away but kept his aim unchanging as he pulled the trigger of death. A billion thoughts and memories bombarded his mind as his finger made the small motion and his knees suddenly felt weak beneath him and he put his outstretched hand down. His mind simply couldn't bear the mental strain of killing another human being. He had already killed one hundred too many; he had reached the final straw.
He walked over to the girl and freed her hands. She smiled at the man thankfully
"Come with me." He instructed and helped her up.
"Wait."she pulled her hand away from Jason's grip "Why should I trust you?" She questioned doubtfully.
"Because I'm the only one offering to help." He answered and took her hand as he led her out into the rain.
