There was a knock at the great consulting detectives door and before he could even answer, the woman barged in, making her presence known by the now confused man sitting in his chair.

"Mr Holmes, what a pleasure it is to see you again," She said, moving over to him and kissing his cheek lightly.

He numbed the sensation, wanting only to focus on finding his pathologist.

"Yes, what do you want," He said, getting up and looking out of the window.

"Rather rude of you, after a whole 3 years of not seeing each other,"

"Get to the point Irene, I do not have time to play your games,"

"Oh but Sherlock, you have always loved a game, and it seems the one Jim has just started, or should I say restarted, is taking your interest ever so much,"

His head snapped towards her at the thought of her knowing something about the whereabouts of Molly Hooper.

"What do you know?"

"Only that I can help you,"

"You, help, me," He laughed heartily whilst still keeping his eyes void and emotionless.

"I would only let you help if you begged,"

"I have begged once to you Mister Holmes, I am not afraid to do it again,"

They both remembered back to the day where Sherlock had set Irene up to be killed, breaking her physically and emotionally.

"And then, you saved me, therefore I thought it was polite to return the favour,"

"Irene,"

He stared deeply into her, knowing that her previous answer was not the truth.

"Fine, I need to lie low for a couple of weeks, I have some people after me,"

Sherlock mutters "as per usual," quietly under his breath, so quiet that The Woman could not hear his sarcastic comment.

"And the only person who I can trust at this moment in time is you,"

"What about Jim? He's the consulting criminal, why don't you go to him?"

"Because Jim is helpful, but I do not trust the people he hangs around to keep their mouths shut, and seeing as you have practically no friends, except the infamous John Watson, I suspected opting for your help will fare me better in the long run,"

Sherlock was not sure what to do, think or feel at this particular moment in time.

How can he trust Irene?

What if it helps the whole situation?

Can she really help find Molly?

"I think we have ourselves a deal, Miss Adler,"

He reached out and shook her hand before pulling her in close and whispering into her ear.

"You double cross me and I will personally hand you over to the people who want to kill you and watch them torture you until you beg to me to save your life again, is that clear, woman?"

"She brushed her lips lightly against his ear.

"Crystal,"

She whispered until strutting out of 221b, Sherlock turning back to his normal position, hands steepled in front of his lips, sat on his chair.

'I do have friends'

He thought to himself.

'Johns my friend'

No, he's your blogger

'Lestrade is my friend'

He helps you with cases.

'Mrs Hudson?'

Your landlady.

'Anderson?'

No he's a plain idiot, who I am ashamed to even have as an aquaintance.

'Molly,'

You love her.

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's such a short chapter but I just thought I would clear up the whole situation with Sherlock and Irene working together, I know it doesn't seem that realistic but I think that this justifies it well...

And I am making the story quite different to the TV show, because I think it  would be boring if the story line was the same, for this story.

Anyway, 280 reads and 42 freakin votes is just AMAZING guys, I am so glad that so many people are enjoying my book!

Please keep reading, voting and commenting and I hope that this chapter cleared some stuff up and that the characters and story make more sense now!! :)
