Nayes- Don't Leave Me

HAYES POV.

He was supposed to be here by now. Where is he? I just need for him to be here. I need him to wrap his arms around me and tell me that everything is gonna be alright even though I know it is not. My parents went to the bathroom leaving me alone for the first time in ages and I am glad. I just need a minute. I think about everything that has gone on since Nash left. The screaming, the Hitting, the starving, and the cutting. He has only been gone for 3 months but it is amazing what can change in three months.

I'm in midthought when I am being yanked up by my hair and I see that my parents are back.

"If you even think about saying anything to Nash, I will beat you harder than you have been beaten in your life. You understand me?" My step dads whispers harshly in my ear, I nod.

"God, I don't even see why he is coming back, he just all of a sudden called and said that he was coming home. you are gonna have to be careful not to do anything while he is here because if he finds out then he will fight for custody and that is bad for reputation."My mom says to me, as my dad kicking my leg as I sat back down.

"Wh-what time was his plane landing?" I ask just wanting to know when he would get here.

"Why do you wanna know? The only reason why he is coming is becasue he misses Skylynn and your mother, you were the mistake kid that wasn't supposed to be here. The only reason he pretends to like you is because he feels bad for you." My stepdad says. That one hit me pretty hard but I ignored it when I saw Nash coming out of the terminal. I stand up, but my mom grabs my arm right where my cuts where. I yank my arm away and run to Nash.

He smiles when he sees me, dropping his bags and opening his arms. I run and jump into his arms, Wrapping my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist, clinging onto him for dear life. I hear my mom and step dad walk up and I tense up a little bit, but then relaxed because they can't hurt me when I am with Nash.

"Hayes, honey why don't you let go of Nash, you are making a scene." My Mother says with a hint of anger and annoyance in her voice.

"Naw Mom, it's fine I missed him. A lot actually." Nash says hugging me tighter, I want to stay like this forever but I know if I don't, I will get it the minute he leaves so I reluctantly unwrap myself from him and take a step back, messing with my long sleeves and looking down as my mom hugs Nash and my Step dad gives me the death stare.

As we walk out my mother startes to blabber on about Skylynn and how she is doing and work and stuff never once mentioning me. But Nash ignores them and when we get to the car, he sits in the back and pats his lap so I put my head on it and slowly drift off to sleep.

NASH'S POV

How long does it take this fucking plane to land, oh my god. I just want to get off this plane and see my baby brother.

You see this past few weeks, I have been noticing something off about him. The first thing was when he said that he had his phone taken away which never happens. Like ever. Then when we do talk he sounds... off. Then the fact that he never posts pictures anymore, he rarly uses snap chat or instagram anymore and when he does, it's an old pictures. Its just weird. That is why I decided to come home, just to make sure he is okay.

I get off the plane and spot them sitting down. Hayes looks up and the minute he does, I see something off. His eyes are almost grey, he is skinny like way skinny and he is wearing a sweatshirt and jeans and its like 100 degrees out side. As he gets up my mom grabs his wrist and tries to stop him, when she does, pain flashes over his eyes as he pulls away and runs to me. I drop my bags and force a smile. He gets to me and I immediately pick him up. He clings onto me and I hug him with all my strength. I see my mom walk up with an annoyed face on.

"Hayes honey, why don't you let go of Nash, you are making a scene." She says, kind of annoyed. God what is her problem. I can tell that Hayes doesn't want to let go.

"Naw Mom, its fine, I missed him. A lot actually. "I say after I do though, Hayes unwraps himself from me and steps back. My mom goes in for a hug, but I keep my eyes on Hayes. He gets a dirty look from my stepdad so he looks down playing with the sleeves on his hoodie.

As we walk out of the airport I, watch him walk, he is sort of limping but trying to make it less noticable. The most noticable thing about him is how tired he looks, his eyes are sunken in. we get into the car and start to drive home, My mom is blabbing on about Skylynn and her work and stuff but I ignore her looking over at Hayes and patting my lap, he layes his head down on my lap. Quickly falling asleep. I just look at his fragile body. There is something wrong and I am gonna find out what it is if it kills me.
