It was cold, windy, and raining. You sighed and looked out your window as the waves crashed against the beach, it would've been peaceful if the people in the room next to you weren't being so loud.

You had decided you needed a break from work in London, so you took a few vacation days and left to a hotel near the shore. What you hadn't expected though, was the noise from the next room over. It was driving you crazy but you couldn't exactly do much.

So, you weren't exactly a social butterfly but that didn't keep you from getting pissed off enough to make a discreet call down to the front desk on the main floor. You made sure that your name would not be mentioned lest you piss the people next door off.

You listened through the door as who you assumed to be the manager knocked on the door next to you. Hearing yelling and stomping before it finally came open.

"Excuse me sir but we've been getting noise complaints. " He said, you could here his nervousness.

You backed up a bit and looked out the window again, not exactly wanting to hear the conversation you had a part in making.

But it seemed you didn't have a choice.

"I will be as bloody loud as I want ya shithead! You know who I am!?"

'Well now that was just rude' you thought as you sat on the bed.

"S-sir please I'm just trying to do my job. People are trying to sleep. " The manager managed to sputter out, making you feel even worse for calling than before.

"Well who the bloody hell is complaining!? If they got a damn problem they can come to me about it! That is unless they're too chicken shit!"

You could tell that he was purposely yelling loud enough for everyone on the floor to hear. Sighing, you got up and straightened yourself out. Did you want to go out there? No. Did you have to? Also no. Would it make you feel like shit if you didn't? Yes. Yes it would.

So, you straightened up your (h/l), (h/c)  hair and opened the door, mentally preparing for whatever hell you were about to hear from the foul man's mouth.

Neither of them really took notice as you tapped on the manager's shoulder
and smiled awkwardly, "I'll take care of it." You mumbled awkwardly.

"Are you sure ma'am?" He asked, a puzzled look on his face before whispering in your ear, "I don't recommend it. He's an ass, pardon my French. "

You couldn't help but giggle and nod, "Yes thank you. You've done enough. "

He nodded and hurried down the hallway.

"So you're the little bugger that called us in eh?" The man asked.

You looked up at him and immediately regretted your decision to even leave your room.

He was a sickly pale, almost green, at least a foot taller than you, and just looked all around intimidating.

Your face turned red with embarrassment as you tried to stutter out an answer, "I-I well I-"

"Well spit it out I don't have all day love. " He said, glaring down at you.

Well what were you to do now?  You didn't even want to be talking to him in the first place much less give him any explanation. He should know why.

"W-well I was just-you were yelling and... " You trailed off, mumbling the rest of your answer, unaware of how quiet you were being.

He let out a groan and rolled his eyes, "Listen as much as I'd like to sit and listen to you babble all day, I've got work to do, just take this." He grabbed a piece of paper out of his pocket and handed it to you, along with a pen, "Write down your name and number, I'll call and we'll get it sorted out. K love? "

Did he just? You blushed and sighed, as long as it would get you some peace and quiet. You scribbled down your name and number before giving the paper and pen back to him.

"Alright then. Be expecting a call love. Until then," He backed up next to the door, "fuck off." He stated blankly before slamming it shut.

"Great." You mumbled, your mood now sour as you went back into the room, slamming the door shut with as much force as the man had.
