Prompt: "Excuse me, could you direct me to the..." "Wait, you can see me?"
A frustrated breath escaped between the pair of rose colored lips. Eyebrows just the slightest bit furrowed she looked at the other and pushed up her thick-rimmed glasses. Not another one of these people, was her thought at the moment. Despite his pale complexion and seemingly radiant irises she continued on refusing to simply leave it at that.
"Yeah, just because I have glasses does not mean I'm blind." The brunette snapped back, irritated at the question. The males eyes widened, his gloved hands quickly placed on the womans shoulders. It wasn't a menacing grip, no not at all, however she was still caught off guard. Her hand twitched as she surveyed him quietly, a habit since her youth.
"This is great! Now you can help me!" His smooth voice reached her ears, head tilted to the side as the race her thoughts were having spiked in speed.
"Excuse me?" She spoke, confusion evident in her response. At this point she was thinking maybe he was some addict playing dress-up. After all, the old time-y detective get-up was strange and misplaced in this advanced 'city of dreams'. His almost yellow eyes glowed mysteriously, a sly grin on his face.
"You're going to help me solve my murder!"
