Chapter 6

Kirstie's POV

............six hours later.............

I can barely contain my excitement for my date with Avi! The Avi Kaplan. I looked at the time on the clock. It said 6:35. Crap! That only gives me an hour and 10 minutes to get ready! I quickly got off the couch and ran to my closet. Let's just say I may have bumped into a couple of things on my way there. When I came to a stop, I flicked the switch that opened the closet doors. When they opened, I stood there for at least 30 minutes until, my eyes laid upon the perfect outfit. I practically ripped the clothes of their hangers and set them on my bed, while I went to go take a shower.

.......10 minutes later......

I stepped out of the shower and quickly dried off. I was about to walk out of the bathroom when I felt something dripping on my back. Then it hits me, "It would probably help if I dried my hair wouldn't it?" I chuckled as I went back to dry my platinum blond hair. When I was done, I went to back out to get dressed. Once I was dressed, I went to go look in the mirror. I'm not going to lie, I looked amazing! I had picked out a light green short sleeve top, light green shorts to match, thigh high black leather boots, a shiny black leather jacket, and a black diamond studded belt that glimmered in the light. Although, I think this is missing something. I went back into my bathroom and found some green and black clip-on extensions. I then carefully placed them into my hair, and took a step back to look at myself. "Perfect!" I exclaimed. I was about to sit back down again, when the front doorbell rang. Knowing it was Avi, I immediately ran to the door and opened it.

Avi's POV

I pulled up into Kirstie's driveway and started to make my way to the front door. I was wearing the same outfit I had on this morning, only this time, I had put on one of my favorite beanies. When I arrived at her doorstep, I pulled out the bouquet of flowers from my jacket so I could give them to Kirst. Cheesy, I know, but what can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic. I rang the doorbell and waited in anticipation for the love of my life to answer the door. 5 seconds later I heard the clicks of her shoes, and she then opened the door. She gave me one of those gorgeous smiles of hers and said "Hey!" I smiled back and said "Hey, ready our date?" "Yes!" She exclaimed. I laughed at her eagerness and said "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" We were about to run to my motorcycle, when I remembered the flowers. "Oh, I almost forgot, these are for you." "Awww, thank you Avi. They're beautiful! I'll be right back." With that she took the flowers and put them in a vase. She then came back and took my arm in hers. "Ok let's go!" We then walked over to my bike. She sat behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist. I started the engine and we took off to our destination. Over the wind and the roar of the engine, Kirstie shouted "Where are we going for our date?" "That's for me to know and you find out." I replied back "Can you at least give me a hint." She said, with a little bit of whininess in her tone. "No, but I will tell you that we are almost there." "Ugh,ok." She replied back.

Kirstie's POV

After what seamed like five minutes, Avi then stopped the bike and cut off the engine. "We're here." "Finally!" I said. Avi took his hand in mine, and we began to walk towards the restaurant. "You'll love this place! It has amazing food. Especially the barbecue," He said passionately. "If you love it, I'm sure I will too," I said as we entered the building. Once, we stepped inside, I was amazed by the beautiful architecture of the building. The walls were painted a tan color, and were decorated with magnificent paintings. They even had it to where you could watch the cooks in the kitchen from a distance. I snapped out of my thoughts when our waiter began to lead us to our table. Once we were seated, he handed us the menus. "Hello, my name is Kevin, and I'll be your server tonight. What you would you like to drink, sir?" "I'll have a coke." Avi said. "And you miss?" "I'll have the sweet blackberry tea" I replied. "Wonderful choice, and I'll be right back with your orders." With that the waiter left. And Avi and I began to engage in conversation. "I don't know if you noticed but our waiter couldn't stop staring at you." He said. "Really?" "Yeah, although, I don't blame him. You look absolutely gorgeous. And might I add sexy?!" I blushed at this and smiled. "Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself," I said. He chuckled at this. Kevin came back with our drinks and placed them on the table. "Have you decided on what you will be having tonight?" He asked. "Yes." We both said at the same time. We both looked at each other and laughed at our little twin moment. "I'll have the barbecue sandwich with fries." Said Avi. "And I'll have the fried chicken Alfredo" I said. Kevin finished writing down the order and closed his notepad. "All right, I'll put your orders in and the food will be out shortly." He then walked away and we began to talk again.

.....5 very short minutes later.....

Our waiter came back with our food and set it down on the table. "Thank you, Kevin." Avi and I said at the same time again. Kevin smiled and left to go serve the other tables "Well, aren't we just an #fcute couple." I said laughing.
