The drive home

Ok, as I begin to walk to my car, I see Rose is already standing there, wow now she's eager to get home, I guess. Anyway, I carry on walking to my car and unlock it to get in.

Rose- "oh cool you're here, let's go." As she begins to get in the car, I have a flashback of my parent's car accident. I do get a lot of these randomly, nothing has to trigger it off.

Rose- "Kayne, are you ok?"

Me- "yes, I'm fine."

I get into the car and begin to drive home, the journey is going to be so awkward its an hour long and I have to spend it with her, without being boring. Hopefully she will just go to sleep, as its been a long day for everyone. As we are driving down the road, my stomach starts to rumble. Oh god seriously now why. Anyway, I just place my hand on my stomach and carry on driving. In the glimpse of my eye I could see Rose just staring at me. I quickly look at her and take my eyes back onto the road.

Rose- "you hungry? We could get something to eat I'm feeling hungry to."

Oh, thank fuck she said that I can go get food, I haven't eaten for the past 2 days and I am starving.

Me- "Rose, where do you want to go? You can choose."

Rose- "let's go KFC"

Me- "really, you want to go there? Ok let's go there"

So as I come up to the next junction I turn of heading to KFC drive through, I get into the que and end up waiting for ages. Eventually we get to order our food.

Me- "What would you like?"

Rose- "just a chicken burger and a large coke please."

Me to the service worker- "1 chicken burger and a large coke, and one chicken filet and a Fanta please."

Service worker- "is that all for you sir?"

Me- "yes"

Service worker- "that will be £7.50, next window please"

As I get my wallet out to pay Rose tries to offer me money to pay for hers. Wow no girl offers to pay for their own stuff, anyway I couldn't take her money and rejected it.

Me- "no you keep it, it's my treat."

Rose- "aww your so sweet Kayne thank you so much."

So I pay and we get our food and I begin to carry on my journey home, I hand Rose her food and her drink and I place mine in between my legs. About 5miniutes later Rose has finished and is slowly falling asleep on the window. She looks pretty cute I have to admit that. I lean over and put her chair down, and carry on driving. There's a lot of traffic and we are just sitting here, so I am just scrolling through my social media and trying to get home on time.

40 minutes later.

We eventually got home and I look over and Rose is still asleep. Erm I don't know what to do, so I just get out the car put both of our bags on my back and head to her door. I gently open her door and lean in to pick her up, as I pick her up, I whacked my head on the door, "ouch." Anyway, I gently pick her up shut the door and slowly walk to my door. I lean into my pocket to grab my keys and she moves her head slowly into my neck. I freeze for a moment as I thought I was waking her up. I grab my keys and open the door and slowly shut the door behind me. Gently and slowly walking towards my bedroom, she proper moves which then unbalances me and I nearly drop her. Fuck! Now that was close. I enter my bedroom and place her down on the bed pulling the covers over her. As I turned around to head of out, I hear her say thank you, I stood quietly and just smiled. I close the door and grab my coat and head out.
