Nerdy boy isn't so Nerdy

Arriving home

As I pull up into the drive, I see that the living room light is on, which means Rose is awake. "Damn, why is she up?" Anyway, I get out of the car and walk towards the house to enter. I don't know why but I am curious to see what her reaction is going to be seeing I am walking into the house at 3am. I unlock the door and walk in towards the kitchen; I throw my coat onto the couch and head towards the fridge to grab a beer. As I grab the beer, I walk back to the couch to see Rose laying down with her computer on her lap doing the project.

Me – "Rose why are you up?"

Rose – "could ask you the same thing, you have just got home."

Me- "yeh, sorry I had to deal with something."

Rose- "what and it takes near enough all night to sort out?"

Me- "erm yeh I guess, anyway what you done with the project?"

Rose- "I have just designed the front page, is this ok?"

As I lean over to have a look, I nearly drop my beer and I accidently elbow her in the knee.

Me- "OMG, I am so sorry, are you ok?"

Rose- "yes yes I am ok"

Me- "wow that looks amazing Rose, why don't you give me the computer and go to bed ill do the next 3 slides."

Rose- "here you go, but I want to stay here, if I fall asleep don't try anything"

Me- "haha don't worry I won't be tempted"

Rose – "oh what's that supposed to mean?"

Me- "it means ill never have a chance with a girl like you so I would rather not chance it thanks"

Rose- "you never know what people think about others you could have a chance."

Me- "oh really, anyway go to sleep here's the covers."

Rose- "ok boss, haha"
Me- "sleep well."

As Rose goes to sleep, I begin to work on the next three pages, well guess I am going to be up for the next few hours, I best get started.

2 hours pass and I am on the ending of the first power point page, its ok though I don't have class I can sleep during the day.

Its now 7am and I am so close to finishing, I just need to stay awake for another hour or so.

Slowly, I can feel myself drifting of, I close my eyes for a bit and the next thing I know I am asleep.

Well, 2 and 1/3 isn't so bad, I guess.
