Today was TJ and I's one year anniversary and I wanted to do something nice for her.

I paced back and forth thinking when there was a knock at my bedroom door "its open!" I continued my pacing, "hi! Woaw what's up, honey?" I stopped and turned to face my girlfriend.

I smiled reassuringly to her "it's nothing, but..happy one year!!" She smiled and giggled and hugged me "happy one year! Here I got you something" she pulled away form the hug and searched her bag then took out a necklace (cliche but that's cute 😤) "TJ, it's beautiful" "just like someone I know~" "TJ!!" She laughed and gave me another hug.

We sat around and spent some time talking when I finally knew what to do, "hey, TJ" "hm?" "Let's go out" "oh, where to?" "Its a surprise!!" We got our shoes on and grabbed our bags, "hey we're gonna be going out!!" I yelled out to my parents "ok! Dont stay out too late!!" I grabbed TJ's hand and we left my house.

"Van you give me a hint as to where we're going?" "Hmm that's an interesting question, no" "I see" I laughed and stopped walking "ok! We're here" we walked inside the coffee shop and went to order.

After we ordered I paid for the drinks and we went to sit down.

"This is so cute, you didnt have to take me here" "hes I did, something nice just for you" I smiled sheepishly at TJ making her laugh. "How did I get so lucky to have you".
