I pushed the sleeves of my hoodie top up as I wiped the sweat from my brow. Summer heat rained down upon us, and sweat infused into our skin as we continued to put blow after blow into the floor in hopes to find our chance out.
"Guys!" Jade yelled from the other room. "There's too many to count, I think they've pushed into the garage!" I began using all of my strength to bring blows down between Allie's.
"Okay I think this will work," Allie wiped her sweat away and handed me her axe. She got on her knees and began tearing away extra pieces of wood.
"Allie?" I looked at her as she sat up. You could see Rotters bumping around the vehicle. Only about 5 noticed the ceiling coming down, but they only continued ahead. The sunroof had been left open.
"Hmm?" She got up from her knees and wiped off her hands.
"Who's going down there?" She picked up her hatchet and smiled. She spread her arms tiredly.
"Why, me of course. Now get the others and I'll drop the bags into there," I nodded. I didn't like the idea of having my best friend jump into the undead, but I don't like cheese and you get what you get.
"Guy come on!" I motioned for them to hurry.
Merrick and Ace pushed Allie's dresser in front of the door and quickly made their way to the attic. Lulu quickly taped a note to the wall and quickly darted into the attic. The air thicker with the 5 of us in there.
"Dear God," I heard Allie whimper from beneath us. Her jump down onto the van fully aroused the Rotters who now began grabbing at her as she shoved some of the bigger bags into the sunroof and then herself.
"YOU LET HER GO DOWN THERE?!" Merrick grabbed me by the collar of my shirt. "I SHOULD HAVE GONE!" I grimaced then shook loose.
"She was available. YOU-" I pushed my index finger into his chest. "Wouldn't have fit."
~Allie's POV~
Rotters surrounded the car. I reached up and opened the garage and placed my hands shakily on ten and two. I soon pushed down onto the break and pressed the button. The car rumbled to life and I quickly reversed it, knocking off a rear view mirror.
"Sh*tsh*tsh*t!" I slammed on the breaks and drove up to the ledge outside of my window. "New plan," I whispered. I saw as the 5 scrambled to the window and soon walked carefully out onto the overhang.
"This wasn't the plan!" Lila shouted. "But... I trust you," she soon took a leap of faith and landed trembling on the car from fear and adrenaline. She soon climbed in through the second sun roof that was a bit bigger.
"Jade, you next, Okay?" Ace passionately pressed his lips against hers and helped her down. Jade easily slipped into the roof.
The Rotters were now very interested in the 6 psycho adolescents. The ones inside pounded against the door louder. The dresser shook. The drawers now began to rattle out of place.
"Okay," Lulu held her quiver close to her chest. Jade popped out and held her arms open for them.
"Just hand them to me!" She then took them and put them in the car. Lulu's fest dangled. An exceptionally tall and strong Rotter jumped a grabbed at her shoe.
"ACK!" She began sliding and quickly jumped onto the car and scrambled into the roof. Merrick now stood guard at the door once again.
"Ace! GO!" Ace jumped in and finally the Rotters had pushed into the room. Merrick raced towards the window and onto the car. "F*CKING FLOOR IT!" He held onto the top of the car and Allie slammed down the gas.
~3rd POV~
Dust flew up as Allie swerved around the Rotters, slightly drifting on the gravel road. Merrick held on for dear life as the rest screamed and held on inside the car.
"Where are we going?!" Jade screamed as Allie made her way into the neighborhood. "Allie watch out!" She shouted as they faced a gray KIA.
The driver lightly honked and motioned for Allie to follow them. He began driving backwards, hitting a Rotter in the process. Allie lightly followed behind. The KIA turned around and began speeding towards the neighborhood exit.
"Do we follow?" Allie asked. The group nodded and a double hit from the roof could be heard. "Then let's go," Allie continued following the gray KIA.
