Season One/Chapter One

No ones POV

Dakota starts new at her school. She was excited and nervous because at her old school she never fit in.

Dakota POV

I jolted up from my bed because of my damn nightmares. I saw my alarm clock and the time. Until it went off. I turned it off.

I sighed and got up. I changed into something comfy. I heard "DAKOTA GET UP". I quickly changed and saw my father drinking coffee and my mother making coffee for herself.

My father said "Dakota you know your going to be late". I said "No I'm not because I had that nightmare again dad". They looked at me with sympathy.

I sighed and told them my goodbyes and headed out the door. I love my parents because they support me and they don't care if I'm gay.

We moved here three weeks ago and we were still moving in. My dad works for the senator and my mother volunteers for the autism kids.

I saw the bus pulled up and I put on my headphones and listened to Wires from the neighborhood. I sat by myself. (I don't own the song). As I was listening to the song but I didn't realize that I was humming.

Until I felt a shoulder on my tap. I took my headphones out and I looked behind me and it was girl with blonde hair.

She said "Geez can you keep it fucking down". I said "Sorry". I put it back on but I didn't hum.

As the bus finally got to the school. I walked inside and I went to look for the office but I was lost. Until I bumped into someone.

I said "Sorry I wasn't looking". I looked at the person and she was short and red hair. She said "It's fine I'm-". "NO ONE CARES RACHEL TICE".

I looked around and saw three girls one with black hair, second with blonde hair, and then strawberry hair. They were laughing at her and she ran off crying.

I was shocked and I thought I was going to make friends. Not going to lie the blonde girl was cute. But she's probably not gay.

They left but the blonde girl went somewhere else. I walked around and I bumped into someone. I saw a guy and I said "Sorry I wasn't looking".

He said "It's okay I'm Matthew so are you new here". I said "Well nice to meet you Matthew but yeah I'm new is it obvious".

He nodded and I blushed in embarrassment. He said "It's okay pretty lady but I can show you around or you can sit next to me with my friends".

I said "Thank you Matthew". He showed me around until we finally reached the office and I got everything.

He took me to my class and I sat in the back. Until I heard "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU". I looked at the person and I said "I'm Dakota". She glared at me and she said "YOUR SITTING IN MY SEAT".

I said "Sorry I didn't know but you can't own a seat". She was about to go off but a teacher came in. He told the girl to calm down and she sat next to me.

I was afraid of her but I said "Listen I'm sorry it's just I'm new but I know girls like you. Popular slash cheerleader but sometimes it doesn't mean shit".

She looked at me and said "Listen here shit head yeah I'm popular but IM FUCKING MACKENZIE ZALES AND I CAN RUIN YOU". The teacher stopped talking and looked at us and he said "THAT'S IT ZALES AND NEW GIRL GO TO THE PRINCIPAL OFFICE".

We both got up and it was awkward but I said "I know you can ruin me but honestly it doesn't matter to me".

She sighed and said "Listen new kid your the type of person to not care but honestly you do so I want you to join my cheer squad".
